I don’t think he works for Apple.
I don’t think he works for Apple.
Apple should care more about the curation on TikTok. From what I've read, TikTok has left numerous videos on its platform that detail how to easily carjack Kias and Hyundais, which have been stolen at very high rates for months now and then even used to commit further crimes, like bashing into gun storefronts with one stolen vehicle and escaping with the stolen goods in another stolen vehicle.Apple doesn't care about the owner, they care about the user generated content, the moderation process of the app developer and how this affects Apple.
Apple doesn't care about the user who generated the content either.
Anyone looked at the Murdoch Press lately? No, I fully get it. Since corporations are people and money is speech then they should have full control over the speech on their platforms up to and including complete censorship of one side. Anything else is compelling speech. If you’re ok with compelling speech then you can send me $200 as well.
The right prefers to legislate opposition out of existence or claim outcomes are fraudulent if it's obvious the majority don't agree with them. All works out in the end.Let’s be real. The left doesn’t like any speech that disagrees with their viewpoint and they want to shut it down.
Are you just making up words and arguments now? What are you even trying to say.No, I fully get it. Since corporations are people and money is speech then they should have full control over the speech on their platforms up to and including complete censorship of one side. Anything else is compelling speech. If you’re ok with compelling speech then you can send me $200 as well.
Yup. And so does all the BS commenting on this thread. It IS a free country (depending on where you live)I want an iPad Calculator made by Apple. And I am free to say that. 😂.
What’s the problem then? Apple can do what they want. Musk can do with Twitter what he wants. I don’t get what argument you’re trying to make. You said people should be discussing how companies deal with popular versus unpopular speech. I said however they want, within the confines of the law.Are you just making up words and arguments now? What are you even trying to say.
Corporations are operated by people. Within the extreme bounds of the law, and governance charter, the corporation steers largely wherever those people want it.
Its well known the majority of folks in operating these companies have a political proclivity. Its readily apparent Musk has his also.
That means Apple does whatever it want. And Musk can do what he wants with Twitter.
Do you still need the charity?
You’re basically full of it.This is coming from the right that doesn’t like anyone of different sexuality, race, or their rights to their bodies...Censoring books, rewriting racist history, preventing other people from marrying who they want, and banning abortions.
EDIT: Oh and btw, literally tried to overthrow our government and tried to hang the Vice President just because your guy is a sore loser.
Cant you be a man of faith and believe in free speech?Remember that North Korea is also known as the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Would you say North Korea is Democratic?
God supports free speech? 😂😂😂
Literal wording of the 1st amendmentYou couldn't be more wrong. Free speech is a principle that supports the rights of anyone to articulate their opinion without fear of retaliation or censorship.
The first amendment limits the US governments ability to curtail free speech.
Only dorks with bad arguments try to silence people.
Did I suggest there was a problem? Or suggest what Apple/Twitter is or isn’t legally allowed to do?What’s the problem then? Apple can do what they want. Musk can do with Twitter what he wants. I don’t get what argument you’re trying to make.
I’m certainly not too good to turn down $200. Let me know if you need account details.
I wonder how free we really are. We’re all slaves, willingly or not. We just pretend we’re free. Anyway, that’s enough philosophy.Yup. And so does all the BS commenting on this thread. It IS a free country (depending on where you live)
Ended common sense moderation??! More like censorshipHe basically ended common sense moderation which kept the platform out of serious trouble.
Why are you surprised?
No. Because it’s always curated. Which is really the point. Of that situation and also that of Twitter and any public or private space.Cant you be a man of faith and believe in free speech?
You’re basically full of it.
Projecting that is all.Do you not know what the definition of incel is?
Even outside of the law you do not and should not be able to force me to help you make speech with my resources that I own. Is that better for you?Did I suggest there was a problem? Or suggest what Apple/Twitter is or isn’t legally allowed to do?
I said people here should be debating the speech thing - what can be said on twitter - from a framework of principles and reason, not law. Whether/How the US Amendments applies to this is mostly pointless. No point cosplaying a law scholar.
Let’s be real. The left doesn’t like any speech that disagrees with their viewpoint and they want to shut it down.
Order today to get on the 12 month waiting list.I hope Musk does develop his own phone and take some business away from Tim Cook and his censorship practices.
