At least Reddit has elements of forums so you can use it in a useful way. I seldom find tweets informative, although Reddit has those posts that are actually educational/informative. But in the end I have to agree that any social media with a up/down vote system essentially becomes a hive-mind- you only see what other people like.
Not only that, but if you’re running a site to attract advertisers, you can’t allow all speech as that will push away advertisers.

The one hit wonders from the left when a person does something they do not agree with they start the name calling, bigot, racist, fascist, misogynist, and homophobe. The left really needs to stop overusing those words since they lose their meaning if you constantly call everybody those names you do not agree with which does not help people who experience those issues.
