Flash Light is one of the last ones I need! In fact, most of what I’m missing is from the first year releases.

Now that USPS obliterated my latest package... I’m down to the last few loops I need And then I’m 100% complete!

Indigo
Flash Light
Midnight Blue Gen 1
Electric Pink
Tahoe Blue

what size do you use? 44mm? our ebay friend had some indigos just last week but he sold out. i dont mean to rub salt on any wound, i just asking if you had noticed.

i just found a 40mm midnight blue for my wife in 40mm last week on ebay and i’m trying really hard to make myself believe i dont need that loop myself.

Again, I am pretty sure I have gen 1 and also gen 2. I got what I believe is gen 1 a long time ago and then the one I think is gen 2 I bought about a year ago.

My gen 2 has never been worn.

No worries man... I had one on the way at the time, so I passed On it. When my empty, destroyed, 3 week late package arrived it was too late.

Story below.... I don’t want to type it/relive it again.

Thanks! But unfortunately I’m looking for a close to new condition Loop.

You tried so hard, and got so far, but in the end, it doesn’t even matter.

I’ll be on the lookout for you!

Sort of off topic, but this notification scared me for a second.

Oh crap, THAT'S what was in there? I don't know why I thought it was some other color. Yeah, that sucks, I'm sorry man.

Thanks for verifying... I wonder if the chart should get updated with the model number changes? I think I saw @choreographics asking about the model number differences earlier in one of the threads.
I was told by an Apple employee as I was checking out S4 devices in store a while back that the newer black sport bands were a lighter shade due to differences in the material. Seeing as how most "2nd gen" colors were issued around the same time, I think it's safe to assume that the color difference is at fault of this change of material.

The switch was with the S4 release, so my guess is with the exception of maybe a few VERY early bands, most 40/44 OG colors are second gen.

edit: S3 was still being sold at the S4 launch, so there's also a possibility that 2nd gen 38/42mm bands do exist. I find it's always easiest to reference a photo of both generations (all 3 in red's case) to determine which one you have, but generally, if it's 40/44mm, it has a good chance to be the most recent generation.

Here is the one box I have. I am assuming this is from what I think is the gen 2.

both my midnight blue bands are marked 42mm

Apple's distribution is based out of Cork?

So weird, I think they only have a population of around 200,000. I went there on a cruise once, and it gave off small historic city vibes.

Could be your lighting but... are you sure that top one isn't a 1st gen black band?

[edit: I have two 38mm Midnight Blue bands and they look almost exactly like your second gen one. The difference in your picture is way too stark. And yes - the ones I bought in 2017 also had black lugs]

I received a few bands from the UK's Apple store with same label in the back

I was looking through my apple receipts just now (to find out when I bought my last midnight blue band) and I also noticed my 38mm anthracite/black doesn't match the one on the chart. Is there a master list somewhere, and the chart only shows the "most-up-to-date" one?

I didn't really pay much attention to the names of the colors of the bands when I first started buying them with my series 0.

My lighting sucks but here is my black band compared to what I am 99% sure is midnight blue

It almost looks like both are gen 1, and one is just very used.
