Could you guys give your input on what classic buckle this may be? I was thinking Taupe 2nd or 3rd gen but I can not find any photos of them besides the 4th gen.

Does it have the size stamp? Cant find it based on the pics. The genuine leather stamp exists on the clones.

I’m currently waiting for more pictures, but thanks for pointing that out! I’m not home right now and only have this picture of my CB’s

Looks like a knockoff 3rd gen saddle brown. You can tell it’s not genuine by the lack of a fillet in the leather that parallels the stitching. The leather also wraps around the clasp here, whereas on the genuine Apple band, the clasp is completely separate and attached by glue. Doesn’t necessarily mean this is not leather or a bad band. But, it’s not genuine Apple.

Here is a link to an authentic band on eBay for comparison:

Definitely a fake. The ‘loop’ is far too thick.
