Was able to pickup a Nike Sport loop in Spruce Fog last night at a local shop.

Purplepalooza 2020: Hot mauve, neon magenta, dusk, violet, purple, electricity
Love all of these. I would buy hot mauve and electricity in a second.

Apple needs more purple bands!!!! I can't believe they have only released one true purple band in all these years.
I count lavender grey as a purple, in addition to UV, but yes definitely need more.

Was that from the Source? I seem to recall them having some.

Does anyone know whether the woven nylon bands work with series 5 watches? I am in the position to buy the black woven nylon one (last available Summer 2017), but it was discontinued right before the series 3 was released, so I'm worried that perhaps the fit isn't right.

I read somewhere that the classic leather buckle and the woven nylon bands were discontinued because the fits aren't perfect with the series 5, so any images you guys have would be appreciated as well!

They do. I have a bunch of woven nylon bands that fit just fine on my S5.

I went from a titanium, which is the second lightest Watch to the ceramic, which is the heaviest

Not dunking on you- a lot of folks think the ceramic is the heaviest watch, but it's actually lighter than the steel by a little bit, especially in the s2/s3 days when the steel wrapped the entire body. In fact, all the weights got a LOT closer with the s4 when they changed to having that back plate of black ceramic. The steel got about 5 grams lighter and the aluminum got about 4 grams heavier. In fact, if you look at the weights over the years, the ceramic is the one that has stayed closest to the same weight for all three iterations.

I'm hopeful that in the future they find a way to go back to the unibody design for the ceramic, I just can't justify spending $1300 on the current design that feels less impressive to me than the original versions that wrapped completely.

Anyways here's a chart I made back in September in case anyone was curious about the weights. It's interesting to me that the original ones hit such EXACT weights compared to every version afterwards.

Being brand new to SS after years of aluminum-- I definitely noticed an immediate difference holding a SS watch for the first time. But within hour, I got used to it. It just doesn't feel different when it's actually strapped to my arm with a watch band, even with switching back and forth.

A little question.
I see some nice pictures from the silver ss watches. Looks very good. But do the little more weight matter during sport aktiviti?
Until now i use the S2 and S4 in Aluminium. My Sport Aktiviti are Running, biking and swimming for example.
I went from aluminum 40mm to 44mm stainless. Is it heavier? Yes, but in a great build quality kind of way. Heavy like a hug for your wrist! In no way has it interfered with life or exercise, I think it feels a lot better than the lighter one personally.

I went from scrolling, to sucking in a lot of air seeing these. Stopped breathing. Don’t do this to us, make them real Apple!!!!

Would also like to add that I had a SS S0 for about a month a while ago (I regret selling it) and could definitely feel a weight difference, but it was very minimal on the wrist. It’ll feel heavier, but it’s not really an issue.

Good to know! I don’t know where I heard the ceramic was the heaviest model. I thought it was also the tallest or had slightly different dimensions somewhat but that doesn’t seem to be fleshed out by the tech specs on Apple’s website.

I never was bothered by the black bottom ceramic on the ceramic Series 5 but now that you pointed it out I can’t stop noticing it. Thanks.🙃

Ceramic S6: the screen goes white when not in use, making your watch a ceramic slab.

Red leather loop options for Fall 2020. "Samba" is where my bet would be between these 2. That being said, the bright punches that we've seen Apple throw in recent years (Meyer LL, Sunset LL, not to mention the glow of various 2020 sport bands) lead me to believe that the brighter red (200 C) is perhaps equally possible.

I’d love a bright red one (and a deep purple...) but let’s be honest, I’d buy either. Lovely mock up once again!

Here is the red I’m wearing today:

Samba product(red) with all proceeds going to fight covid in Brazil, which summarily disappear into the re-election fund of its most famous patient

Not to derail or change the topic, but if anyone has a Marine Green M/L piece and/or a Cloud M/L piece they are willing to sell/trade, please let me know. Also looking to trade my extra Grey/Black Ceramic for a White/Pebble Ceramic.

NOW BACK ON THE BAND-WAGON:

Had a few requests to take pictures of all the orange/close to oranges. here are a few ranging from direct sunlight, to indirect sunlight, to natural lighting.

What a view!

Im curious though, where do you put the justification in getting them all? Is it just for completing the series or do you see another reason to get, say, both Nectarine & Clementine, despite the proximity in color?
