Definitely Gray & Fog. Both came bundled on aluminum models at one point, but we’re also sold separately, so they’re nothing too insane. Still great bands to have! Only just recently got mine as well.

“Gray-et!” Thank you guys! They are both labeled “42mm” indeed. That was very helpful. The dark gray is definitely a nice color and for 4.99 who can complain. Not sure about the fog just yet, esp since the titanium light gray band I ordered from Apple may be very similar.
As discussion has moved away from technicolor bands for a moment, can anybody tell me whether there is any perceptible difference between Stone Gen 1 and Gen 2?

There is a difference for sure. But to your point 42 is absolutely Gen 1 and 44 is Gen 2. Planning on taking some neutral comparisons this weekend so I’ll add stone into the mix.
Let Cactus marinate. I wasn’t thrilled at first but it’s so unique. One of my favorites.

Okay, I get it now. Cactus is cool. I don’t have pine green, sorry! Closest bands I have are turquoise, green, and spearmint. Which aren’t very close at all.

Ok don’t judge me as I really indulged quite a bit for this band 😬 but my god I love it. Here’s the close your loop band w titanium watch. Prob one of my favs now!
Oh interesting. I didn’t realize the Close Your Rings loop is the like the original black loop with all the flecks of color in it. I always assumed it was more of a straight black (like the black Nike loop but without the reflective threads). Never was a big fan of all the little bits of color in the original black loop so that helps me resist the urge to want this one!
ah I see. Yea I was actually pleasantly surprised with the little specs of color. I actually really love the black Apple one with the specks of color rather than the Nike straight black versions and this is the same as that just with the close your ring color on the connectors.
actually I have a black I just got from our eBay friend so can compare the two.
but yea, lucky you, I wish I could have resisted the urge on this one...I had recently seen it one of my in laws friends who works for apple...just casually wearing it and of course I had to ask and...here I am with this thing.
What i found the most interesting is that they didn’t simply recycle the ”black“ band. If you lay them out side by side, the CYR loop is WAY longer. I actually believe it’s the longest loop they have ever produced.
Odd that they would tool an entire other line of bands just for the CYR loop, when they obviously had so much leftover black at the time. UNLESS they simply cut the fabric at a different marker to accommodate the different lugs. Interesting either way.

I see that is interesting. But I just tried laying them out side by side and they are nearly identical in length, with the CYR band being just a tiny bit shorter. Width is same. The lugs are slightly wider on the CYR band, but that I believe is bacause CYR is 44mm marked, and Black is 42mm marked. My apple celestial band also has the 44mm marked and has the same lugs as the CYR band (this lug difference between 42 and 44 mm was new to me honestly). Perhaps they have some “XL” versions out there? I cant imagine a longer version would fit too well for most people.
Here is the 44mm CYR, 44mm Celestial teal, and 44mm Black....interestingly all different sizes in length. 🤔

I haven’t even considered the XL variant you mentioned. I got mine directly from an Apple Employee, attached to its card brand new so I know its authentic. I will post pictures of mine later. I don’t have any other XLs to compare it with, but being that Black and Anchor gray are the two they made XL variants in, its not beyond the realm of possibility.
Yea that is what I am thinking. This one also came with same card saying 44mm, but I did get it from the resell market. there’s no indication to me that its fake (feel is same as the black, the pattern is literally identical, 44mm marking looks real, pink connector on edge says “assembled in china” (added pic above) etc, but man that would be terrible. If the CYR was much longer than black, the loopover over would probably be too big and look silly on my wrist, never having the XL versions of any of these bands. Would be interesting to see yours for sure!

Its light gray from the titanium edition. Its closer to concrete minus the brown notes!
Not as cool as hanging on the wall. I am loving the tags. Thanks Tox!!!! Gonna need bigger storage drawers soon.
