I’ve only had it one day and I already get why this band is many people’s favorite! This color just pops so nicely in the sun!
Tried it. Also tried shooting WD 40 in there, hoping a little would get in between the lug and the watch. Not budging. Grrrrrr.
My gold nylon does this, I just have to pull on it really hard...
Yeah the nylon lug shape does not love the steeper/shallower series 4/5 slide slot. It’ll come out eventually I promise!
But like-- what else can I try? I just keep trying and trying and nothing happens? Is there a better angle to pull maybe?
Sucks that happened! I've had several that are really tight, but they have always came out with a little more force. Did it click in smoothly?

I’d try lightly tapping it out with a hammer and soft wooden down or something.

I’ve only had it a couple weeks. I did notice that with nylons or Milanese, it was a bit tight and thought about getting jewelry lube before because years ago that helped a lot with sticking on some non OEM bands on an earlier watch. Are stainless steel models like this, compared to aluminum? This is my first stainless.

I "only" have like a dozen or so bands, but I notice the only ones I ever really wear are the Nike Sport Loops because they are comfortable and convenient.
I'd like to get the Myer Lemon Leather Loop because it looks really nice on the SBSS (which is what I have), but I just don't think I'd ever wear it (I have the original Black LL, Forest Green LL and White LL and I never wear them).

i dont know, ive only had stainless steel, ive had a few bands that have been stuck before but nothing i couldnt pull out
Only ever had a (silver) stainless steel since launch day, through 0 to 3 and now 4. Never had any problem like this with an OEM band. Have had some non-OEMs that required some.... persuasion.
I'd actually had some trouble with the new Nike Pride band where I had to really force it to slide in when I first got it. Like I was literally afraid I would break something. But then after wearing it for a bit I guess it squished to fit better, and now it slides in & out a bit easier, though it still takes some effort.
And I wanted this band too 😄 Oh well, hopefully they aren’t all this way. Glad you finally got it out!
I had trouble with one of my bands not clicking in until I realized it was upside down and I need more sleep
