Technically.... two.

The right is from Chargerstore but I think is gen2 even though the rose gold pin was on gen1. Middle is def gen1 I got from Apple in ‘15.

There are 2 gens of midnight blue band, but they are identical in color. The only difference is the feel of the band (updated formula on newer model). I have a Gen 1 midnight blue.

Bonus content: my flash loop from the guy with the black silicone iPhone case designed by Apple in “Cupertion” has arrived and it looks and feels legit to me.

ETA: of course I don’t notice the specs on dirt on my screen until I post the midnight blue band pictures. Oh well.

There are *many* cheap midnight blue listings out there. You’ll find it for cheap, most likely sealed. Mine was $15 sealed and they’ve gone for cheaper.

Also have the chance to get a Smokey Mauve/Particle Beige Band for $20 locally with the box, is that a good buy? Haven't seen too much love for that band on here!

Welcome to the form. Be prepared... none of us have money around here. It’s all “invested” into our hobbies.

As @jwlbel stated, $20 NIB for Smokey Mauve is a fantastic deal. Nowadays you’ll be hard pressed to find it new for under $60. I say grab it before someone else does!

Interestingly I have two Gen 1s bought from Apple which display a similar colour difference... both with SS pins.

I think there may have been a secret revision within Gen 1, or an inconsistency between two factories...

To be clear I think my Charger is actually gen 2 because it is very soft. Just a weird mismatch. I also feel like my Charger Hermes has the 44mm printing but isn’t 2018-2020 soft?

likely got tossed out of assembly before final coating or something, I’d imagine Chargerstore buys a lot of his bands as factory seconds. Crazy though, none of my bands from him have had any issues, so you’d think Apple has some crazy high standard for QA, and yet you often get Nike bands with secondary colors bleeding over the lines. Who knows what goes on in there.

Yeah, I actually wonder what the deal is there. Do employees sort of pocket every 100th band or so? Or just steal from the dumpsters? Would love to go dumpster diving at the factories lol
