I’ve given up hoping for a perfect one. Got lucky with only one blip on my first try.
Apple just needs to work on coloring inside the lines.
Today, wrapping up the tour of the summer 2018 collection with what I think is the final woven nylon Apple released — mythical Apple Park bands notwithstanding — the Pride Edition 2018. Still really love this band.
I keep eyeballing that band 👁...Still deciding whether its too neutral for me ( will it drown in my skin tone?). Normally I wear bright colors for that reason

Somewhere in this thread(I believe) there was a sweet youtube video (or link) to how to unstuck Nylon Woven bands( painlessly) 😅 If I find it I will shoot it over to you
I'm boring and only have a white and black band. Only OEM. I don't trust third party bands.
i think that was for if you were having the issue of it not clicking into place, not for if you cant get the band out of the watch

Yeah it would be the opposite of that, for sure why it’s one of the least popular bands, it’s all but invisible and that’s why I love him! I’m now wanting a walnut colored ceramic watch...patiently waiting for its soft-recipe successor based on the neon pink lugs...

Based on my experience, about five seconds after an hour-long conference call begins.
This guy recommends using a follower to exert a jamming force on the side of the band while pushing the release button:

I tried pushing, by the way-- didn't work! But eventually pulling very, very hard. In stages.
Did you try bending the band way up or way down like in the first video. I wonder if that helps align it better.
I did, but it was just-- trying absolutely everything and seeing no real difference. Part of it is the weird angle you have to pull while simultaneously pressing the button and holding on tight. If I had had three hands, it would have been easier.
This has me fiendishly wondering what the Apple opinion on this is. Sure all the bands sold since fall 2018 “work with 38mm and 42mm” but I wonder what AppleCare’s stance on woven nylon compatibility with 40/44 might be...
