Ah yes I always forget about the checked bands! I find them to be a little too busy (especially this one with all the white mixed in). They do look interesting, especially from far away. They’re just not for me personally.

I’ve had both at one point...sold them with older watches but I much preferred the non stripe navy/Tahoe blue rather than the midnight blue stripe one. The navy Tahoe has a nice bluish/silverish sheen. The blue stripes on the striped one overall looked much lighter than I expected. I think the stripe works better on the black woven nylons in my opinion, but of course to each his own. There is also a navy/Tahoe blue *stripe* band that would be interesting to compare to, if someone has pics of that! On eBay the pics of the navy/Tahoe striped band looked better to me than the midnight blue striped band.
...or you could just get both and call it a day! 😁👍🏾

Nah its definitely lost its reflectiveness no matter the orientation or angle! Tried washing it to see if that made a difference but naahh
Wow that’s extremely disappointing. I baby the hell out of my loops, they don’t know the word sport. Not saying you did anything wrong, I just feel even more irrationally justified in that behavior.
Now I recall the reflective tape I put on my basketball hoop as a kid and how it faded over time...I’m sure there’s some science someone on here can provide.
Yea i certainly put some sweat on it but took care of it otherwise. No swimming in it or anything crazy.

I can’t help but share a good win 🙂 All this for $70. To think, I had one* OEM band in April, and now look at me.. winning gold medals! Thank you... thank you all.
*I usually only had one OEM, as I sold my old watches to move up to another series, I would sell that OEM with the watch. So my one band was always different, figured $50+ was too much for another band. Welcome to the thrift world for Apple bands old me... if only I knew sooner.
