It may be because I have zero sense of fashion or because I live in a latitude where seasons don’t differentiate that much from each other, but I don’t understand the logic behind winter releases. Why are those supposed to be winter colors? Not that I don’t like them, I just don’t get it.

In winter in USA it is quite cold in much of the country. Thus, Apple often releases cooler colors to match the muted attire one often wears in colder climates.
