I think the Graphite shade would would better if the stainless watch had a brushed finish. I find it to be too light a shade for the highly reflective finish that the SS actually has. At that point, I would rather have the silver and the greater band compatibility. Also doesn’t come close to the SBSS in terms of blending the screen with the watch casing. The videos today completely solidify my decision to hang onto my SBSS S5 for at least another year and I might end up going up to the Ti if it’s still around next time I upgrade.
That video also does nothing to make me dislike the leather link band less than I already do. Really that Apple has pretty much eliminated traditional watch bands from its lineup. Your only real options at this point are to shell out for a link or an Hermes leather if you want a more classic look in a 1st party band.
Have you or anyone else at your address purchased any other bands or other Apple Watch accessories using the EPP this calendar year?
My first morning have five not just one watch on 7.0.
ALL five alarms went off. So much birdsong. So disorienting because my SBSS went off fifteen minutes earlier and the birds outside my house sound like the wake-up tone, which Apple Watch hasn’t done until today.
Luckily I was still in my room. Although during beta I did come back upstairs to find my SBSS had been vibrating for an hour.
Fair, but also, you don’t want it looking too much like Space Grey aluniumium, which for me Space Black Titanium fits this, nothing wrong with Aluminium but at the sheer difference in price, you’d want it to stand out. But also, if only the Ceramic wasn’t priced out of so many peoples budget...
Fair enough man, I mean on the other hand, with Series 6, theres actually so many bands now, including new styles introduced, it actually feels like all the way back in 2015 when the Watch itself was introduced and back then every new band was new. Now instead, we also have heaps of new bands to try, whether they’ll be one offs or stick around, time will tell.
As for your second sentence, yeah, sometimes I just actually think about it, we’ll never know the real reason they got rid of the Classic Buckle, but I highly doubt it was bad sales, they were always popular across the board, i think it was just a ploy to upsell people to Hermes leather bands which were the closest alternative
Not a govt employee, but for some reason I have the same pricing. I bought the 3 Nike bands and had no issues.
Aw, didn't realize I have to make an appointment to browse in the Apple Store, can't just stop by, and all slots are filled for the entire weekend. Guess I won't be trying on the new bands this weekend after all!
I purchased a Hermès, Nike sport loop and a sport band with my EPP yesterday and two of them have already shipped. No issues at all
I think starting tomorrow they'll have them in stock. I called and the worker said they're expecting a ton of people this weekend.

I'm chatting with an Apple rep right now. She says that they limit the number of bands that one customer can buy (even at retail price). I've only bought 4 in the last year--and that's at full retail price, not even in the EPP store!

They told me that they don't even let you order multiple bands as a regular customer either. Like if I wanted to place an order for 5 bands at full retail price, they won't allow it. Huh???!
I just placed a new order for full retail price to test this. I bet it goes through fine.
Just noticed my Business carrier are offering the SS this time - it was just aluminium when I got my S5. May have to see what deal they’ll do on an early upgrade...
