Oooh it’s so dark purple and lavender? Still from a distance I think I’d see it looking like the indigo loop. I will get it though, because purple.
Mine too. I‘m not sure it’s a ”run out and buy” for me though. Probably more of a “wait until Best Buy has a 20% off sale” band. Also, between my recent woven nylon purchases and picking a SBML earlier this week, I am pretty sure my wife would prefer I didn’t buy another band for a while.
It is cloudy today so no outdoor photo. I’m sure someone can do justice in the sun.
I haven't read all the posts here to catch up so I hope I'm not repeating, but here's the Obsidian Mist/Black sport band

looks very nice! It would be interesting to see a comparison w hypergrape. From these pics, looks like hypergrape almost has a bit more purple, but maybe the sun brings the purple out. Thanks for sharing!
does it have a bluish tinge in person? How do you like this one? I have one on order as well along w a Atlantic blue woven one which itself is 8-9 weeks out (which I’m super excited about). Hoping this obsidian is an exciting one in person when it arrives next week.
Which color case did you choose? I opted for the SG SE Nike and Purple Pulse.

So, to fully qualify my answer, I'll fess up that I'm a bit color blind
Not bad, but sometimes borderline colors will look different to my eye. Inside, I don't see any blue. Outside in the sun, I see a hint of blue, especially if I see the band in front of another blue object like my floating pool lounger or the blue sky. That said, I really like this band and am totally happy I got it. It's kinda subtle, but the black holes also make it dramatic. Is there such a thing as dramatic understatement?
Be interested to get your take when yours arrives!
I was surprised mine arrived already as I'm usually on the tail end of the Fed Ex routes. Just a lucky day I guess 😎
It has almost a blue-purple tint to it. At least I assume so. The shoes do.

So another development in the cancellation fest. I re-ordered with bands in bunches -- loops together, bands together, links together, etc. -- and one of each of the solos so I can try them out.
Just got a notification that and order cancelled. And it turns out, it's the Watch Edition I tried to order, by itself, with a black leather link.
I get the feeling Apple just doesn't want me to have an AW6. Funny, I had been wondering about whether it was worth it or not. So I guess I'll just keep the band orders, and maybe see if I can snap up a AW5 second hand for a decent price. That's how I got my 4, and it's worked out well for me.
Meanwhile, FedEx appears to be about to bring me my Product Red loop, but they'd prefer to wait until Monday to bring me the Product Red band.
I'm pretty sure there's a word for what this watch-ordering experience has been. And I'm pretty sure that word starts with cluster.

Woah. Ginger looks so much more smooth than the others. I need someone to compare it to the other yellows!

It’s weird, you’re the only one who seems to be having issues getting the bands to actually process. If your orders keep getting cancelled, it might be because of your local distribution center.
To be clear, so far, all of my BAND orders appear to be processing for their later-than-expected departure.
The three orders that have been auto-cancelled on me have been the ones that included the AW6 Edition.
The first big order with the watch and a whack of watchbands? Cancelled.
Second order -- the same? Cancelled.
Order with AW6 Edition and black leather link, all by itself? Cancelled.
Order for the two Product Reds, which I forgot the first time around -- processed and appear to be in the process of delivering.
8 "Replacement" orders of:
6x sport loops
4x sport bands
3x Nike bands
3x Nike loops
1x solo loop
1x braided solo
1x leather loop
3x leather links
-- All processing without cancellation thus far.
The orders portion of my Apple Store app is a dog's breakfast right now.
OMG, my Nike sport band in obsidian mist/black arrived and I LOVE IT!!! Just awesome! Highly recommend if you like grey. Nice neutral.
See, I went simple- 3 Nike bands. Would almost be funny if Apple can’t even process that.
