Definitely one of my favs now, the Atlantic blue braided solo loop! found my size, size 6, by walking into an apple store. They are getting these here and there for instore purchase, I’m just not sure why the app doesn’t reflect that.

the lady also said I could finance 0% it on the Apple Card, so for about 8 + change a month, so why not!

Assuming they make a band for every one of these countries, that’s 34 bands. I have a feeling there’s a simplified number, though. We had 14 countries turned into bands in 2016, but Apple likes to outdo themselves, so I’ll guess somewhere around 20 countries made the cut. No way to know the real numbers though, not until Apple says something themselves.

I don't think that's likely personally. I wonder if the returns are allowed for in the "hard to justify even for Apple" pricing though - I mean they throw the returned ones away I expect.

I’ve had a number of bands that I’ve felt lukewarm about when paired with the silver al case, but now like a lot more with the gold ss, including grapefruit which I’m wearing today. Glad I didn’t sell them. I’m now slightly obsessed with getting cactus but trying to rein in my spending.

One other thing - before I got the ss, I had some concerns about the watch feeling too heavy compared to the aluminum but I’ve been wearing it a week now and can’t say I’ve really noticed a difference.

Grapefruit is great on gold! So is cactus! And all the yellows... 🙂 etc..

I’m on a NIKE SERIES 3 SPACE GREY from 02/18 with BLACK NIKE LOOP.

I absolutely love that watch, it was my first and I’ve only taken it off for the weekly cleaning. Watch and band in pristine condition, very suprised about that.

I am thinking about a NIKE SERIES 6 and I definitely want a NIKE LOOP, I find them the best.

But which colour? I can’t go with black again, I find the white ones quite bright and they might be prone to dirt? I think I like the purple one, the obsidian one and maybe the summit one.... but I haven’t seen them in real life and I worry about about being “too offensive” on my wrist. The black combo was always a low key thing, never to present but I should really go for a change.


I am amazed about that strap thread and found so many pictures, maybe someone has a great Tipp or idea I haven’t thought about and make my decision easier.

I can only assume that the Head of Band Design has a garden with some very specific cultivars growing in it. My lilac tree is much purpler (is that a real word?) and my Hibiscus is also purple, not pink!

I do have a red rose that's Rose Red though...

...and my Beryl and Cobalt plants are an exact match 😆😆

World Indigo/Lime Blast Sport Loop, inoffensive black and dark blue but in the right light turns green as well. Also if you need a sport band, your username is begging for a blue black/mango.

I'm a big fan of the NIKE LOOPS too. I get what you're saying about the plain black loop.

Out of current bands, Purple Pulse is kinda understated. Obsidian and Spruce are brighter.

There are a number of older awesome loops tho.

Yesterday’s band — charcoal braided solo loop.

Wore it all day and all night — went for a run, puttered around, slept. Looks good (mind the gap), and also very comfortable. I think I’m pretty clear a convert to the solo loop.

So, the (P)Red Gen 4 defied expectations and actually turned up this morning. Only took 7 days - not bad for a next-day service...

I seem to remember someone asking for a pic of the full Red lineup, so here we are. Left to right, 1 to 4.

Gen 4 is most similar to Gen 1 (left and right respectively), but maybe slightly ‘peachier’?
