The look of today.
Sky Blue sport band with Ceramic color watch face. They really match perfectly.

Was just going through my band box, and I’m kind of disappointed that I haven’t worn my product red band, or my Nike pride band but one time each. I’ve now placed them in the go pile. Anyone else have bands they don’t wear much?

Yeah. I have bands I doubt I'll ever wear like Midnight Blue 2 and Hermes Gold Pin. Others I want to but really can't match with anything like Royal Pulse or Spruce Aura.

I desperately need to find a Sky Blue SB!

Sky Blue is very, very nice. One I bought for completeness and really like on its own merits.

So I’m using this post to show how Graphite really differentiates itself based on the lighting, with the Atlantic Blue Braided Loop.. Here I’m sitting at a window on public transport;

Aboveground with the sun shining onto the Watch, it’s closer to the Silver Stainless Steel.

In a tunnel/underground, a “darker” setting, it more closely resembles the old Space Black Stainless Steel.

It’s really neat and either way, I love this idea of getting the best of both finishes and I think it looks very elegant. Apple did a great job overall with Graphite and I hope it sticks around permanently and not a one-off like the Storm Grey Ceramic, but you never know!

For what it’s worth here’s what the braids looked like:

I messaged the guy on Twitter and he sent me that exact same photo. I asked if they had the laser markings of the size and other on the metal lugs and he said “I'm not sure about that, but they're genuine and exactly as Apple's so they should if thats what Apple has”. He also said that it depends on your region if you will get a box. Apparently something happened to the listing so it was relisted. It does seem very sketch. Here is the guy on Twitter btw if you want to message him or ask him something on his post: https://twitter.com/caleblin_apple?s=21

Hey guys! I'm the one selling those crazy cheap Braided Solo Loops on eBay. I understand there is a lot of skepticism about what it is, whether it's genuine, is it a scam or sus etc., so let me explain everything.

These are made from genuine materials. This means genuine polyester yarn, and genuine silicone thread used to bind the whole thing together. These aren't the official Apple stuff but are very high quality and exactly the same, and when I received mine for quality testing they were exactly the same as compared to the real deal. I used the official MPN because it helps with SEO, and no one on eBay is really selling any of these so I wanted people to be able to find it.

To add to how they aren't just low-quality fakes, I have arranged for them to have the exact specifications, so I have sizes 1-9 and your size can be measured with Apple's sizing tool. It's an amazing way to try the solo loop if you don't want to fork over the cash to Apple.

I apologise if people thought these were Apple products and want to take me on with buyer protection, that's up to you. My goal was to give people the ability to get a high-quality Braided Solo Loop for a really good price because Apple's price is crazy. And if they do wear down over time, just get a new one no problem, they're cheap AF.

As pointed out, 14 USD plus no shipping! Amazing! If you placed an order and would no longer want it delivered as you only was testing if it was genuine, please reach out and we could sort something out. But I recommend for you guys to just try it, its super affordable and very good quality.

Questions? Queries? Feel free to send them here, I'll be replying.
It is fraudulent to use the genuine MPN and the genuine Apple hero shots when you are not selling the genuine Apple OEM product. Your relisted item title literally has “OEM” in it when it is in fact not the OEM product. I don’t give a damn how it helps your Search Engine Optimization or how good your product may be. It’s sleazy and it’s wrong. Prepare for a lot of eBay Money Back Guarantee claims from the people you are bilking. If your product is so close to the original, post real photos and take off the MPN and the Apple hero shots and let people decide on your product’s own merits. What you’re doing right now is disingenuous and frankly I’m floored you actually had the gall to show up here and defend your actions.

I’m quite disappointed as still right now the eBay listing has the MPN as the real Apple one and Brand as “Apple”. It doesn’t really matter how high quality they are, if they are not Apple, even if they are a perfect clone, they are not Apple and shouldn’t be advertised as such. Other braided solo loops that are not officially Apple have their brand as unbranded and no MPN. I will wait to receive mine, and depending on my thoughts I will decide whether to request a refund or not. Advertising these as “Genuine”, “OEM”, “Apple” or with the MPN is not the right thing to do.

I also found this AliExpress listing, which I’m assuming is the same product. Even here it isn’t advertised as an Apple product. https://m.aliexpress.com/item/1005001527466676.html

Congrats on making the switch to SS! It looks great and works well with every band
You’re so right. The gold did have something special about it though and I miss it. If I were not a band collector and could have contented myself with just a few bands I’d stick with it. Alas that is not the case so now I can enjoy ALL my now more than 30 bands!

I was going to write my own reply but you said it better than I would have. Unfortunately, I doubt any of us will be able to convince a scammer that scamming people is bad.
