I saw that just for size 8... and size 1 for the 40mm.. it’s odd..
I’m size 8 solo loop but prefer size 7 for the braided..

If these are successful, the leather loop is dead by next fall.
Leather Loop and Modern Buckle are gone by Fall 2021. I wonder if they maybe have seen my glowing reviews and maybe shorten that timeline and shirtcan the spring colors they surely planned just to be safe.
Diver Blue, Pink Citrus, and Garnet are such derivative (almost insultingly so) colors for those lines, it screams “we want these bands six feet under with the classic buckles.”
Yeah that’s pretty much my take as well. While I think the Leather Loop is better looking, the Link and the Loop are too similar to both stick around for long. Not a big deal for me since my interest in Apple’s leather band’s completely dried up after the Classic Buckle was discontinued.it’s hard to predict what they’ll do, but I would advise anyone that prefers the old Leather Loop to get one sooner than later. You don’t have to go with the new thing just cuz it’s the new thing, when Modern Buckle replaced Classic Buckle in 2018, I was like eww there’s no way I’m buying that, it’s hideous, the Classic Buckle it replaced was so much better
Either way, it was never fair or a good look that Leather Loop never came in a 38/40mm size, it’s kind of divisive actually especially reading on this forum and elsewhere for years comments along the lines of “the leather loop style looks so good why doesn’t it come in 38/40mm“. And thing is, those that are born with very small wrists can’t really get the 44mm without it looking very off/oversized on their wrist. The Leather Link keeps a very similar look while fixing the mentioned size issue. Size exclusive bands are an arbitrary concept and the sooner it goes, the better.
Maybe Apple wants to completely kill the idea that the Apple Watch is like other traditional watches?I will be interested to see if @athousandbands prediction about the Modern Buckle also being discontinued. It is the last remaining design in Apple’s lineup that even remotely resembles a traditional leather watch strap.
That certainly was the vibe they put off in the September event. I had to stifle a laugh when Apple devoted time to talking about how traditional bands have a buckle and only preset sizes for fit and then went on to introduce...a line of bands where you have to order your correct numbered size to get the right fit. But it does seem like they want to make the Apple watch it’s own separate category now that it has become established and has sizable marketshare. I guess Apple feels less of a need to try and convert traditional watch enthusiasts now. And it’s not like there aren’t still traditional looking band options (Milanese Loop and Link Bracelet). But, I enjoy leather bands and miss having a 1st party leather option.Maybe Apple wants to completely kill the idea that the Apple Watch is like other traditional watches?
See, you could buy a nice leather band and get several notches for sizing, OR you could spend the same $100 on some recycled yarn and be locked in to one size? That certainly was the vibe they put off in the September event. Getting jealous of all these Graphite shots! What do you do when your shiny new Graphite SS finally turns up (after a 4 week wait)? Slap a really old band on it, obviously!

No Milanese Loops going anywhere near this!

Yeah, it’s definitely awesome Apple is recycling, but I’m not going to sell someone a recycled coke bottle for $40.Not the first time you make „recycled yarn“ sound like it‘s a bad thing. Recycling is good!

Yep. They’re not my thing, at least not for retail. Same with leather loops. Sport bands, maybe, but I have to really like the color. I rarely pay retail, but that’s just me!Because that‘s exactly what the braided loop is, a recycled coke bottle ... 😂
Look, the prices for all first party Watch bands are very high. Nothing different about the braided loop.

You shouldGetting jealous of all these Graphite shots!
It’s my first SS - so shiny and has more heft than the Aluminium. Feels far more premium...Getting jealous of all these Graphite shots!
FYI. This is what a Milanese graphite band does to the graphite watch.
I have been very careful, but the scratches are made by the band touching the watch when I make it loose in order to remove it to charge.
If you buy the Milanese you need to be EXTREMELY careful.

Subjective, but sport loop or solo loop or braided solo loop. Haven't tried leather link but that would probably be very comfortable. What’s the most comfortable style of band?
What’s the most comfortable style of band?
This seller will take $500...they keep relisting with the watch even though they get no bites. Retail was $689I’m still waiting for my green braided solo loop, had to return the size 6, it was too big for my taste (the size 6 silicon(sp?) solo loop is ok, I guess the friction makes it stay put). So I will have to wait on placing an order for the red one
I received a Tahoe Blue sport loop in the mail today, turns out it‘s a color I don’t like, so I am gifting it - that’s why it is packaged in the photo
Do any of you know of a source for an authentic Double Buckle Cuff (any color)?
have been looking for one for ages, but haven‘t seen one that i think is authentic.

I didn't realise the colour selection aren't identical across watch faces. But I can't find Mango for Numerals Duo?Given that Yellow is the warmest sport band (and doesn’t work), I actually ended up with Light Orange, which they still haven’t made into a band. And then the Dark Titanium also worked really nicely, I have it on the gold watch upthread, typograph face. Mango might eventually feel right but today it just was too bright.
Mango is a only part of California and Typograph. Part of a new set of punchy colors meant for faces that fill the screen. Used to be just edition colors and pale pink and white and cream and gold.I didn't realise the colour selection aren't identical across watch faces. But I can't find Mango for Numerals Duo?
Clearly that Australian eBay seller made off with all the 40mm and then the 44mm size 8 just to get revenge on us/TwanjEvery since but mine: 1-2 weeks
