My first leather links have arrived, and today’s my first day trying them out. Saddle Brown today.

So far, I think I’m a fan. It definitely feels rock solid on my wrist, and seems a worth successor to the leather loop. It took me a minute or two to get the routine down for how the parts had to go together for optimal (for me) tightness on the wrist, but now that it’s there, it feels great.

I like that it doesn’t “slip” and loosen a bit when one flexes one hand, the way my leather loops do.

Finding original adapters Space Black with marks "Made for Apple Watch" would be ideal!
Do those even exist not already attached to a band? To my knowledge, the only bands Apple has ever sold loose with black hardware are the black Modern Buckle and the Hermès Noir. Seems unlikely you would find black adaptors floating around on their own and those bands are expensive.

You're right about the black hardware. Silver hardware, judging by this article, can be bought separately, but their price...

Nice! Still having a hard time getting used to the different colours on the edges - what's your opinion on that?
I think the high contrast of the rails with the runway takes more getting used to. The difference between the rails and the plastic hardware just looked lovely from jump. But of course I already spent a year learning to love khaki and alaskan sport loops and that helped.

Definitely only 24 hours with kumquat and it started looking more normal. I don’t know if already owning Papaya loop helped or hindered that. That kumquat earned its keep by being different enough.

I picked mine up from the Apple Store today and the color is identical to the first generation red Sport Loop. I love it. Sorry for the bad pictures, just had to take some before the sun goes down.

Thanks for the shots! Nice variation in lighting -- really shows off the true look of the band as well as its texture. Lucky you for finding it in-store by chance -- or did you order for pickup??

It’s available for in-store pick up here in The Netherlands as well. Although we only have three Apple Stores nationwide, they all have stock for multiple sizes (even my size 6!) of the Red and Pink Punch.

Ébène Deployment Buckle
(the only model that got ebony, a really subtle black-brown; when it came it was really loose on the lug so I Karen’d the seller to no avail, got mad for six hours, and then opened the lug and wrapped the lug bar in nametag paper and now it stays still and centered;

TIL when you cut down to four numerals the color option goes from the skinny second hand to the thick hour/minute hands, anemone here)

Wow, lucky! Weird, no love for Canada on the Red front, judging by the online stock checker. Seems ironic 🇨🇦

Oh well, Oct 27th is my ETA.. I'll just have to keep checking these fancy pics here in the meantime!

Spent some time today trying to put together a layout of my current bands. Don’t know how you guys do it - I struggled so hard to find a spot to lay them all out. Anyway here is the collection right now - it’s missing four bands that are on the way - brown classic buckle, black classic buckle, OG yellow SB and coastal grey SB.
Lovely collection and colors!

Thanks my friend! My OG yellow came today and I love it - a nicer yellow (to my eyes) than the pollen shown in my group shot.
Can't wait to see you post a picture with it on your wrist ! I got Ginger which is a bit stronger yellow than pollen and really love it too.

It's always so refreshing to visit this thread. So many beautiful bands and watches.

Hello everyone! This is my first post on the forum since I created my account in 2014 and I would like to share with you my happiness in finally finding the one that for me is the most beautiful among all leather loops. I share with everyone the newest member of my humble OEM collection.

Collection you say? Would love to see it!

I only just recently got Midnight Blue as well, but mines a prototype, so I don’t know that I want to wear it too much.

Welcome to the thread! Prepare to double your collection within a month.

Don’t know how I missed this, but awesome!

I.... need a better storage solution.

Thanks! I am from Brazil, and here it is not very easy to get original bands, but little by little I am growing my collection. By the way, my collection is this:

I got a handmade box that already needs an upgrade. I saw your post of the prototype and it is beautiful, congratulations!
