That’s a lot of work. Is washing the box common? I usually just throw it on a shelf and let it be. I figure if there’s anything on it, it’ll die by itself after a few weeks.
I clean the box only if it dirty. Most of them, I just let sit out for a couple of days before I add with my other bands.

Today’s band, the final of three aberrations that have found their way into haunting my collection.

View attachment 975510

A Franktenstein’s Monster of a band created perhaps by a mad scientist combining the front of Black / Volt with the back of Midnight Turqoise / Aurora Green, you can practially see the bolts in its neck. Actually, that’s just the space black pin. Nevermind.

You can put down the torches and pitchforks, villagers — we’ll be back to more normal creations tomorrow, as we check out some new Fall ’20 arrivals.
Did you actually wear them all day, or just put them on for the photo? I’d be too scared to wear mine for more than 10 minutes at a time (followed by a very generous massage with a microfiber cloth)

Almost considering picking up a duplicate of each, just to wear one and keep the other pristine. Is that crazy? No, right?

My second Hermes.

I wore all three all day, or at least from when I got up at 6:30 until 10:00 or so at night when I switched to my sleep tracking watch. I did give them a wipedown afterwards.

As for buying a stunt double.... hey, I'm not gonna judge someone else's watchband-buying behaviour as crazy considering my own proclivities.

No regrets? I feel like for me to wear them all day it would need to be a special event.

Woah! You’ve got a little bit of everything! Sport loops, woven nylons, leather loops...

Living in Brazil, do you ever see the Olympics woven nylons come up for sale? I’d be curious to know if there are more of them still in the country or if most of them have been exported or shipped elsewhere.
This question is interesting, because here it is as difficult to find as it is around the world. the advantage is that when it appears for sale, usually those who sell do not know their value, so they charge the same amount or even less than they paid at the time.

both 🇧🇷/🇩🇪 in the photos were obtained for 40 dollars each last year.

Since I started collecting, I saw only 2 from Brazil (from friends), one from France and one from Germany.

Definitely let me know if you find any cheap 42mm ones! I'd be interested in picking them up and paying for shipping if you'd like to help me with getting them to the US.

Hello everyone. I met a friend from an old date, who migrated from iOS to Android, and he didn't even remember that he had saved some bands from the era that used the Apple Watch. for my happiness I managed to haggle 35 $ in each one. These were my new acquisitions:

practically new, since he used milanese more than silicone. I am very happy with this finding! I managed to acquire two of my favorites: ultraviolet and gamma blue. I still need to get the Sport loop Hypergrape.

TIL I need to move out of the US if I ever want to score better deals.

Those aren't bad prices at all! Ultra Violet in like new condition is an easy $80 here. Blue Orbit is about the same last I remember.

I've just taken a gamble on a Stainless Link bracelet from CEX here in the UK. Grade B for £75.

Figured the outcome will either be:

1) It's scuffed and a bit dirty but good enough to polish back to life
2) It'll be fake
3) It'll be scuffed well beyond help and not a grade B
4) It'll not even ship (I've had that happen before trying to order a SB link)

My success with CEX has varied drastically in the past from 'as new' Milanese to filthy 'Grade A' sport bands.

Take your bets now...!
I can relate to those fun and games with CeX.

Metal band wise, I have had a flawless - and authentic - Space Black Link Bracelet as a Grade B and a so-fake-a-five-year-old-could-spot-it Space Black Milanese as a Grade A.

Fun times 😅

I'll hope I get the same luck you did with your SB link! So far it's been in the 'stock picking in progress' status for almost 24 hours, which doesn't bode well!

I have stopped purchasing from CeX, I have gotten mostly fakes from them, including some really bad ones.

Another green day today (forest green, really difficult to get the color to look right, imo), time for something more colorful tomorrow, the weather is so drab

Looks like original pink to me, but could be nectarine. I have both, and they are surprisingly close.
I forgot to mention that it has 40mm stamped on it. So OG Pink is ruled out and maybe Nectarine too, I guess? Clementine is certainly after the 38 to 40 switch. Is Nectarine from the 38mm era?

BTW it would be a good feature for Bandbreite app to show if the band released as 38/42 or 40/44.

This seller will take $500...they keep relisting with the watch even though they get no bites. Retail was $689
I have asked the seller twice now for pictures of the reverse side of the band and watch. They don’t even reply to my messages.... hmmm
