i have to disagree on this one. From memory, the OG orange was much more reddish than the Feu, which is why I sold it. I still have the Feu and would describe it as a “burnt orange“; it‘s not very red to my eyes at all.

But the question that arose was if there were/are maybe two different generations of Feu bands, one more reddish than the other ...
Ahh, apologies in that case. I missed that we're taking different colours of Feu. If I remember later I'll take a pic of my Feu next to my OG Orange. My recollection is that they are pretty close.
Well Feu me! The iterated the jawn! Makes sense they did have it in the lineup forever. Unedited from camera, chronological order. 42mm/40mm. 40mm (right) less saturated and bright. Both bands still fire, so to speak.

I'm going to say that while they are slightly different that could be down to differences related to leather being a natural product, or storage / age / exposure to light over the lifetime of the two bands as much as any deliberate changing of the colour.

Sure, but then why are the hero shots so different and why does the difference between line up with the discrepancy with the photos? Alas, my 40mm did come used so I can’t say anything definitively, I just feel like Apple wouldn’t change the product photography so drastically for no reason, especially if Hermès is sharing the media assets.

And also Epsom doesn’t really change color like Swift. The embossing makes it quite easy to clean. Toxtrepla once got a filthy Lime and brought it back to life.

Today’s band — Pink Fuchsia classic buckle. I like it - probably not quite as much as Berry. But quite nice.

In the UK too - just ordered a 42mm Barely Rose/Pearl Pink. They also have 42mm Black/White.

Will allegedly be delivered tomorrow (Sunday!) but I won’t hold my breath...
Errgghhh ordered Khaki. I don’t even know why...yes I do...I have a problem! (And to be fair it was on my wish list)

I might have to leave this forum 😅

At least here in Germany, Nike.com has Cargo Khaki Sport Loop 42mm and some other older bands back in stock!

Just went back and ordered black/white too as it was also on my wishlist. Bloody hell! 🙈

UK Nike has gone back and gotten old stock what, 3 times now?

I guess I know where I’ll be moving next.

Today’s combo: Product Red Gen 1 with a kaleidoscope face made using Keith Haring’s “Family” art (the purplish is actually pink; didn’t photograph true to color) - thought it was an appropriate pairing :)
