I was brave and got a white one.It is top secret. If I told you, I would have to kill you... sorry.

It’s the best fall color. Slightly edging out Cyprus and Pink Citrus. This is awesome!!!
Blue is my favorite band color. I’ve been wanting to see Navy next to Midnight - Navy looks more vibrant than expected.
The treble out of those must be amazing - it's shattered that iPhone screen!I was brave and got a white one.View attachment 1710635
They sound pretty good. I almost never have it over half volume though. Hadn't taken it to full volume at all. If I did it'd do more than crack that phone. The treble out of those must be amazing - it's shattered that iPhone screen!
I have never heard a HomePod - we don't get offered them here. I have seen the original in Apple Stores in Manchester and Vancouver, but not heard it play. I don't want to want one.
Maybe I should get a Mini to try. We’ve used Echo Dots since before they were officially available here, but Alexa seems to be getting dumber. I barely use Siri because he/she has been pretty dumb also, but maybe Siri improvements and the genuine worsening of Alexa has closed the gap a bit. They sound pretty good. I'm more impressed on how well siri works. you can practically mumble and she'll still hear you.

For music I have more than a few dollars in a Sonos setup however, and frankly HomePods aren’t even in the same game as the Arc sound bar with a sub and rear surrounds.
True. I’m watching a HomePod on our eBay equivalent here. Presumably an import from Aus.but... ecosystem
You won't see it quite yet...Also how does one find the marketplace? Got a few to sell but can’t seem to find it? Thanks
The Marketplace forum is visible only to qualified forum members (at least 250 posts and at least 180 days of membership)
I’ll use Reddit until 2 years time then 😁You won't see it quite yet...
Apple needs a warning on their website.I (think I) need some help. When I originally just followed this thread buying some of the bands I had wanted here and there felt fun. But now as I edge past 55 bands from my original 12, I am looking at every band on sale and seriously even considering buying bands colors that I don't like just because they are available at good prices.
I need to stop spending money.
Haha yeah it takes some real self-discipline to hang out in this thread if you’re not trying to collect every band. I have had to make a few rules for myself.I (think I) need some help. Except Nike. Buy everything Nike.Haha yeah it takes some real self-discipline to hang out in this thread if you’re not trying to collect every band. I have had to make a few rules for myself.
That last rule has been the hardest not to break as it has led me to pass on some really good deals. But, overall, these rules have kept my habit mostly under control. My collection quickly ballooned from 4 bands to 12 when I found this thread. Since then, it has fluctuated between 10 and 15, which seems like a decently stable number.
- Only buy bands I actually plan to wear.
- Sell bands that have not been worn in over 2 months (excluding seasonal factors like only wearing sport bands in winter)
- No keeping 2 bands with almost the same color (for example, I have both a Ocean Blue and an Alaskan Blue sport on the way but will only keep one)
- No buying bands below market just to resell (not worth my time and it just encourages my buying habit)
I am absolutely not knocking anyone who is collecting bands. I just know that it would become an addiction for me and I’d rather not go down that road. This thread is addicting enough on its own! 😂

Same rules as me, except for number 2.Haha yeah it takes some real self-discipline to hang out in this thread if you’re not trying to collect every band. I have had to make a few rules for myself.

I agree. It is just easier to set the spending limit than it is to set the rules. If the rules result in a two-digit collection, the rules are wrong. 💯
I guess it depends on your a ‘gotta get em all’ collector or a soft collector that buys the ones they like. I’m thankfully the latter as it means I only buy colours I like and not the near identical cousins (mostly).I agree. It is just easier to set the spending limit than it is to set the rules.
I want everything except the leather and metal bands... you can hold me to that though😉I guess it depends on your a ‘gotta get em all’ collector or a soft collector that buys the ones they like. Don’t hold me to that though 😅
Chargerstore has UV in 38mm brand new for $99.I know this is a longshot, but if anyone finds a 38mm/40mm Ultraviolet or Plum Sport Band for a good price, could they please PM me? I’m not a collector of every band - just trying to get a couple of my personal favorites that unfortunately seem to be some of the rarest.
