Great color combo. Had no idea that the band was so close in color to the AirPods Max. Based on these pictures, reconsidering Pink Citrus. So much for a band free Lent! Thanks for sharing.

Yeah! It looks amazing in person, very bright and bold and the fact that it's almost the same as the AirPods Max is the cherry on the top of the cake. If you have the pink AirPods Max as well it's one more reason to get the band while it's available. People ask me on zoom calls if paired them on purpose! (of course I did... :p )

TIL Apple is replacing the Edition Watch exclusive bands (Titanium / Hermes / Ceramic) at $49. Same price as regular bands.

Just requested an Orange Hermes sport band ;-)

Do you know if they replace the series 2 ceramic band or is it just the more recently series?

Anyone having the classic buckle, do you encouter the issue that something like oil leaks out at where the lug connects to the band?

Just got my Nike Pearl Pink Sport loop. It looks perfectly new with the exception of the area towards the end of the loop that sticks to the other half. Both sides don’t look the same color.

No amount of detergent can restore the color. Sigh.

Try a baking soda solution, perhaps? Side note: still looks great - and I’m sure only you see that, and only when actually trying to see it!

Get a mild detergent (like Woolite) and put a spoonful in a bowl along with warm water. Let it soak in there for about an hour then take it out for a bit and take a soft toothbrush and dip in in the soapy water and gently scrub the band all over until you build up suds on the surface. Put it back in the water to sit for another hour, then take it out, rinse thoroughly with clean water, and blot it dry with a paper towel (then leave it to air dry for a day or two). Sport loops tend to clean up very well when I do this.

I had same problem. And it was DISGUSTING. I got a new modern buckle which was like 5 years old, the lugs got stuck and were not able to rotate, and when finally I managed to move them a bit- this black oil started dropping from inside of the band! I was like WTH apple?!!
