I can't decide how I feel about the braided loops. Just got my first one, and its comfy---plus I really like that the lug doesn't go all the way to the edge--- but it kinda still looks... dunno... a little lower end than the other bands, honestly? Sorta looks like something someone sold on Etsy?

Looks good to me! My worry is the stretchyness over time factor. do they get loose?

I'll let you know in a few months :) --- but honestly I don't think it will, at least the way it feels to me it doesn't seem like it's actually under continuous tension when on my wrist.

The braiding does give it an Etsy handcrafted vibe for sure. I agree though that it doesn’t have same the level of polish as Apple’s other bands. I think it’s the fact that the band doesn’t go all the way to the edge of the lug channel and a bit of the silver connector peeks out from the watch casing that does it. It’s a very comfortable band though. If I did sleep tracking with my watch, I’d have kept mind for sure.

I like Mango, that looks like a more unique one we havent seen before
Cream made the jump from the watch face background colors to real band...but mango is very new so it’s more of a placeholder I just threw in there. Just any yellow deeper than OG yellow would be nice.

Can you choose six from this group to be the spring and summer sport band/solo loop colors? History says two from the first two groups and one from the latter two.

Blueberry, but want UM, will get either/both

Mango, but want Monarch

Cinnamon, but Mojave is fire, will get either/both

Scallion, it’s time, I feel it.. and it’s what the people need!

Would love to see Sunrise from above or a sport loop/band that is the same colour as the leather California Poppy. None of the oranges (and I know the majority don’t want anymore!) have hit the mark for me personally, not even Hermes Orange. They are never the same shade in person as the pictures online, nowhere near as vibrant and very washed out/pastel like in colour.

In general Apple seems to be really reluctant to make vivid colors these days! It's either dark colors barely distinguishable from black (oh hay forest green leather loop) or super pale washed out colors. Where are the colors like flash and ultra violet and such from early on???

(Although I do like the Hermès orange---finally just snagged one of the slightly-cheaper prototypes from chargerstore, and that's a real nice orange.)

im having a feeling they might be having issues with consistency on mass producing certain colors, thats the only conclusion i can come up with. 🤷‍♂️

come on Apple, where are the new baaaaaaaaannnndddsssss!!!
I cant remember, for last years Spring bands, were they passively leaked/confirmed beforehand? IE not the actual colours but something with SKU numbers/new watch bands show up in Targets database or something.

Anywho, I used force touch on my photos app on iPhone, clicked on “one year ago” and somewhere in there was a screenshot of last years then-new Spring colours, yep, Grapefruit, Surf Blue and Cactus.. A rather tropical trio.

Wonder what we’re getting this time around.
