What is the name of the color of the upper part of this band. Camel is the name of the bottom but do you have any idea what the official color up top is?? Pollen, Lemon Cream, Canary Yellow?

Camel is the name of the whole band / colour combination. The individual colors have no name. You might check out the „watch band buddies“ thread to find out which “official“ yellow the yellow in the Camel band looks closest to.

I was thinking about this yesterday and I don’t think they’ve really done anything close to it. Adding it to the wishlist. The rail is definitely seafoam fwiw. Most of the series 5 sport loops are covered by sport bands but the gaps are maddening. For instance the brown and pink in neon pink. We only got coastal gray from that loop.

Luckily the series 6 sport loops they’ve been much more thorough and  completed the...well, you know. I now have every yellow since I’ve checked this band but I had pollen the last time and that’s the only one that’s close. The problem is they really fade this shade of yellow when they do it on a sport band. The camel loop’s yellow is kind of a rich banana cream. And I consider camel to just be the brown color.

Tim  leaving us in the cold led to some deep dive close-out shopping retail therapy. I don’t even play tennis anymore but they were on sale! You can never have too much Royal Pulse And the Bright Mango hat pops like crazy.

What luck..... purchased this one today second hand. It has only been worn a few times and thus in pristine condition.
Nice find. I have been looking for the Light Bone band for a couple of years now with no luck. On the rare occasion that I do find one, the seller want big $$$ for it.

Well, autumn has arrived here down under, so I’ve just gone and shopped for an appropriate new band for the season,

Deep Navy Sport Band. A very worthy successor to Midnight Blue I think, and wow, this colour really makes Titanium pop for anyone else who has it:

I rarely come across those on eBay, let alone you find one in your own territory. And for what it’s worth: I paid €120 for it, which is imo even a fair price for a standard S2.

I’m disappointed the most recent watch and phone updates didn’t result in new colors being slipped into the watch face color choices. That was how I figured out the newest band colors to be released over the last few years or seasons.

I usually don’t like speculating about the hypothetical, but in this instance, I’m now personally predicting (could be very wrong), we’re just gonna see the new Spring bands at this rumoured April event. Whenever that is.

Yes its nearly the end of March and we still don’t have new seasonal bands yet which is record first in the history of Apple Watch, but I suspect the addition of the new Solo Loop, Braided Loop and Leather Link complicates it a bit more for Apple, as hypothetically these new band styles are planned to be refreshed as well for Spring, in addition to the usual Sport Band, Loops etc. So it would be a pretty big release, a lot of new SKU’s.

Again I could always be wrong and a press release this or next week could change it all, but for sure 29th of March with no Spring bands yet is a new record for sure as by now in previous years it would be released by now

That is a good possibility I didn’t think about before. But the Fall and Winter collections released right on time which is odd.

Side note, Cactus has been removed completely from the Apple site and I wonder what’s going on with Pink Sand. Apple says currently unavailable and Amazon only has 14 left. Doesn’t say they’re getting more either. Additionally, most stores near me are running low on bands according to the Apple site. I’m sure it’s like that elsewhere. A refresh has to be eminent.

Yep fall and winter bands released on time.. iPhone 12 and its matching cases didn’t though 😉 jokes, I’m sure that has nothing to do with it.

Cactus was from last years Spring now a year ago, it sure lasted on the store longer than it should’ve, usually it would’ve been discontinued with the release of the new Apple Watch in September. I suspect Apple for some reason decided to keep it on sale until stock depleted.

The other poster brings up a good point too with the software updates ‘spoiling’ imminent watch band colours - is there any precedent for the Watch OS not spoiling new colours before release? For example were Grapefruit, Surf Blue and Cactus in the Watch app before the bands themselves dropped?
