I was hoping we’d see them today, being the first weekday after the Spring Equinox. But so far it’s 10am in Cupertino and nada. Kinda makes me wonder if they are going to press-release an iPad Pro refresh tomorrow and just drop them all at the same time. Someone was on the iPad forum talking about SKUs showing from Apple in Target’s system for release on April 1st, but who knows if that was iPads or Watch bands.

I’m thinking we’ll see new bands on or before next Thursday.

From memory, in Australia time, we’d usually see the new stuff released overnight on a Tuesday, like around Wednesday time just after midnight if that makes sense. That was how it went with last years iPad Pro, and all events were on a Tuesday (Apple loves Tuesday for some reason)

Welp, nothing today. I think Apple just loves playing with band collector’s emotions. 😂

Yup, by now in previous years, they would’ve been released.

It could very well be we have to wait until whenever this “April event” is, but I’d say, the Prosser et al leakers probably aren’t too happy they got caught out not once, but twice with this “event” date (16th,23rd).

The last two spring drops were Wednesday but this new beta makes me wonder how they would have the GM out in time with the new colors.

I choose to blame Zuckerberger for taking so long to eat his IDFA poo-poo pie, if this week passes without our goodies.

They probably won’t ship the bands with the GM. I’m thinking either 7.4 RTM won’t require 14.5 or we’ll see 7.3.3 to include the new colors if needed.

I was looking in to it and you’re right. At least the last three spring drops have happened on Wednesday, usually the second or third Wednesday of the month. What makes this March different is we have 5 Wednesdays whereas the last three Marches did not. Because of this I think they are releasing them the second to last Wednesday of March, aka today. Probably in 10-15 mins.

The winter bands came in a weird 2pm pacific slipstream but I think they need to take down the store to redo all the collages and stuff outside the hero shots...I’m ready to wait another week.

Perhaps they really want the media attn and eyeballs to visit for iPads and new accessories in the same week.

Looking at most of the hero shots it looks to me they're colors that are normally mainstays, eg Product Red and the dark blues (damn Apple just settle on Midnight Blue and call it a day!). Some aren't but I'm sure Apple already has a lot of these new photos ready to go and as far as the configurator that shouldn't take much to update.

If they release the iPad Pros and new Watch bands in the same week, RIP my wallet...
 
What is also interesting is while most of the bands seem to be in stock online, a lot of the stores are out of stock. I'm not even going to try going through all the sizes of the Solo Loops but looking at the Sport Bands, for example Plum and Northern Blue are sold out in most of the stores in my 'local' area (Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas and Chula Vista, CA) and Cactus of all colors is listed 'Sold Out' entirely.

EDIT: Also, of ALL BANDS, Pink Sand is 'Currently Unavailable'. :oops:

Lol Pink Sand should not have survived the fall reboot imo.

Yeah I don’t know I just feel like they wanna make sure those header and splash and sizzle page images look just right.

That is a band I have been wanting for soooo long. I finally just broke down and bought a cheap knock off it to match the Sunset Leather Case I got for my Xs Max lol.

all of the leather links are sold out I think in other retailers as well including amazon.
