You who have papaya and plum sport loops, how does papaya compare to the orange band end of plum? Having really hard time figuring how rich of an orange it is from pictures. On some it looks bright like safety orange and others show it really mellow.
To me the plum rail is kumquat, so vibrant but desaturated. It’s pretty similar to the papaya sport loop, especially the plastic. The rail is a little more red than plum’s.

you know I can’t help but wonder if the summer 2021 refresh of watch bands will be delayed too. These usually release at the beginning of June, usually around WWDC. We‘re now less than 8 weeks away from WWDC. Even if they release today on the 13th, thats still not a long time like at all till the hypothetical Summer 2021 refresh. Although of course that release would probably only be sport bands and iPhone silicone cases.
As others have also mentioned, these watch bands and stuff are a huge revenue generator for Apple, profit margins on these things are pretty big. By continuously kicking the can down the road, they aren’t really doing themselves any favours, but I’ll keep my eyes peeled if they release this week
I wish the Solo Loop came in CapriBest blue to date. Capri.

@athousandbands question for you: which band is more blue & less white looking between Sky Blue and the light blue prototype you got not long ago?
Inside in the shade the proto looks dull and dark next to Sky, but then in any amount of light, they pull about even, with the proto taking on a little glow. Sky Blue is more blue because overall the proto has a “lilac sport band” hue. I’m starting to think Cloud Blue will come out and be one tick different than the proto.
This is why I kept thinking, that proto looks really close to Sky Blue!
This is a long shot post and maybe not the right forum for it but I'm gonna ask here anyway. Does anyone have an Obsidian Mist/Black Nike band for the 44mm that they would be willing to let go of? I am on the lookout for one and have had a hard go of it as they were recently pulled.
mmmm, my take on it is I still think Apple just lazily reproduced the Linen Blue colour specification, just instead for the Solo Loop. I‘m gunna guess probably, because Linen was a best seller last summer, so of course, bring it to the new band style. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Tomales came out only for the Solo Loop, and no other accessory - but I’m not complaining because I didn’t get Linen last year
This is easily one of the prettiest Pride Bands they’ve come out with. Hope this years is as good, and remember once its out, previous years gets pulled from the storeSince we may only be 1 week out..

they also probably wanted a nice new, dull default for the blue aluminum. A spring deep navy. Notice they aren’t pairing it with Capri, which looks a little loud for it. Maybe that’s what decides the sport bands versus solo loops. Thank you, looks great. Any other suggestions for a medium–dark gray Sport Loop? I don’t like the different color rails on the current Charcoal. I’m hoping Apple comes out with a nice gray Solo Loop or Braided Solo Loop one of these days too
