We’ll see what novel comparisons I can furnish when I finish later. Sadly my friend dup’d EngLav Braided between the two separate storefronts, so no Maize. Though it is now ordered.

Pink Chalk takes a lot of the color out of pink sand but gets that neon-like pop that comes with lowering saturation. It is a little more colorful than it looks here.

It does, thank god. No Marigold but I think others cover it.

Yeah I expect the resale value of Obsidian/Black to drop significantly after this.

What you lose in richness in the primary, I think you gain from the more flashy accent. Unedited pic, doing a proper #thousandfits tomorrow:

Yeah, it’s like Nike has been afraid to step out of the box with their sport bands. I would love to see red, purple, yellow, and a lighter green as base colors. I have been hoping for a Nike Product Red band for years! Magic Ember seems like it may be a start though.

It’s very pink but hey a saturated pink primary! Woohoo! Yellow in the spring, we can do this!

I assume apple blocks certain Nike colors so that they fit the wider lineup. I doubt Nike decides much beyond showing Apple their lead colors for running/yoga and sometimes tennis. Or Ironstone as an indigenous awareness project. Ironstone feels of a piece with the pride braid.

And given all the Nike employees Apple acquired from FuelBand, I’m sure it’s those folk at Apple having say over anyone in Beaverton.

As I anxiously await the deluge of comparison pics tomorrow, can I go slightly off topic and ask anyone that happens to have both a medium and large of the old leather loop style to measure the overall length of each? I usually wear a medium but there are a couple cheap larges I am trying to convince myself not to buy.

I think it’s noticeable from everyone’s pics so far but here’s a side by side, they made the weave much tighter/smaller/finer on the braided solo loop threads themselves, right? It wouldn’t surprise me if these new ones hold their size better.

Thank you ☺️ This actually looks better in your photo than it does in Apple's photo. It looks way too dark there. With a watchface that picks up the lighter blue, it sure looks great. So order again 🙈
