Does anyone else feel like the silver lug on the braided solo loop sticks out a little more now? Likely the cost of doing business with a watch redesign. Could just be the corner more than anything, as you can see in my second Cherry pic.

I guess with starlight replacing silver and midnight replacing space gray, the sport band pins no longer match the cases (with the exception of the silver SS and Hermès SBSS)?
Sorry to quote from a few pages back, but just wanted to wade into the whole Starlight/Midnight vs Silver/SpaceGrey debate,
Personally, in my opinion, I’ve never really understood the appeal of the special-coloured aluminium trend that was started last year with Blue and Product Red with the Series 6 - sure, nice enough to look at, but in the Apple Watch world with band collection, there are very few bands you can match them with. So I imagine they’d appeal more to people that just get one band and stick with them for the entire lifespan (so like, not people on this thread). This year, with the Series 7, Silver and Space Grey are out, replaced with Starlight and Midnight, which are more beige/dark blue, respectively, while the other colours are red, blue and a new green that very pleasantly reminds me of 11 Pro Midnight Green - but the thing is, with the blue, red and green, you’re quite limited with matching bands to them. Silver and Black meanwhile are only available if you upgrade to Stainless Steel or Titanium - or buy an older Apple Watch in aluminium, interesting!
I mean so far, do people here prefer the new Starlight/Midnight watches or the classic Space Grey and Silver?
Grrr, there goes another $50Here lies Obsidian/Black, it was a good band. Expensive, shiny, hard to find, but we loved ye. Rest in peace, the bell tolls for thee at a mystical midnight.

Obviously we haven’t seen them IRL yet and Apple renders can and will be misleading but in some thread here I saw a picture of Black and Midnight leather cases next to each other and the difference in color saturation was very much noticeable. It sure seems Apple wants Midnight to be a dark dark blue, not black with a hint of blue tone.I mean so far, do people here prefer the new Starlight/Midnight watches or the classic Space Grey and Silver?

It’s a scandal how poorly thought through this interface is. There’s no real solution but sorting BBreite chronologically. But of course the color list isn’t 1:1 with the band releases.WatchOS8 - I don't really remember when my various bands were released, and with no names in the new list to select colours from, I'm a bit lost. Is there a list of watch colour sorted by release date, with names, anywhere, so I can look up while selecting for watch faces? The Bandbreite one isn't too manouverable.
I was planning to do this…and then I got my watches setup and lost all motivation because the screen with the circles is so triggering. There’s also this behavior, maybe intentional, where when you go back to the main face screen in Watch.app, the color is still there! So these are the names for the "Spring 2015" colours, but I can't find any that match BBreite after White/Green/Blue for that season.
Edit: more seasons.
I hope that's a bug they'll iron out soon. There’s also this behavior, maybe intentional, where when you go back to the main face screen in Watch.app, the color is still there!
Charitably I’m hoping it’s someone who was given very little time to do it before being whisked away to some other task.wow, that looks awful! who thought this was a good idea??
It appears a colour is kept in the selector, if it's checked via any watchface.…when you go back to the main face screen in Watch.app, the color is still there!
But isn’t there only one master color list? I do think the color disappears with time. It’s just maddening to try to confirm you zapped the right one and then not really know what you went back and pressed. But hey now we have a cheat list!It appears a colour is kept in the selector, if it's checked via any watchface.
