Does anyone have pictures of the chalk leather link or white leather loop on the ceramic watch? Do either of them match or are they just off enough in color to look odd?

That is stunning with the stainless!

Absolutely is! I believe the stainless gets a shine of its own with the costlier bands. I didn't pick the SS only because of the mortality of the watch and knowing myself. I would love to have newer tech in 3-4 years, and do not want to spend the insane cost of SS in my country - about USD 1100 for 45mm SS. That, too, for just 4 years max.. could not truly justify.

Also, could not resist Starlight.

I do really like the starlight, but I think I’ll do stainless maybe next year when I have an excuse to pass this 7 down to someone in my family. ;-p

I had stainless once, but didn’t love the weight. I think I’d just have to suck it up now though because I really like it.

Yes, that is precisely my thought for my next watch in a couple of years or maybe even next if they include a sensor I feel is a must-have for me!

Truly LOVE this thread. Have learned so much about style and how to wear everyday without bringing too much attention to the watch.

If you do not mind my asking, might you expound on this? That post of yours was well into the 20 thousands.. I hope you remember what you learnt and can help a watch newbie out! :D

Ha! Just learning on the fly. Pictures have helped a ton. I have my tastes, which tend to be on the understated side but do like to have unique, subtle touches. I was a long-time lurker before posting. And, I learn something new every day here.

My favorite current bands are:
Mist Blue
Coastal Gray
Light Gray
Nike Ironstone
Nike Obsidian Mist/Black
Alaskan Blue

I know it's not an huge accomplishment, especially in this family, but with this great yoink, Northern Blue Solo Loop, not only I have my first Solo Loop but I hit the personal milestone of 20 OEM bands.
Pretty happy with that :)

20 bands. Whoo!

I am sitting with 4 purchased already not counting the 1 that came with the Watch.

Sequoia Green and Dark Cherry leather are in the bag, my mind trying to control my fingers on the trackpad.

Well 5 OEM Bands it's a rock solid start! It took me a little less than 2 years to reach 20. I try to purchase them under retail price, which is why it took me so long to add a solo loop and a braided solo loop to the collection 😆

I do not know how to describe this well, but I will try.

I want to ask something - does the Nike sport band feel thicker and just better than the regular sport band? My starlight sport band feels different than the Nike and somehow the Nike just feels more premium and thicker as well. It could be some tactile deception going on, so asking the experts who have been handling them for years.

LOVE that color! Sure wish I’d have tried the solo loop before last month, so I wouldn’t have missed out on some of those great colors.

Oh yes, Spring and Summer colour are always fun and full of energy!
Actually, fun fact, the Northern Blue was part of the Winter release last year.
I guess we are not gonna get one this time 😕

Hi Everyone, new user here 👋

I just got my first ever Apple Watch on Thursday and have been going through this thread for inspiration.

Thought I’d show off my watch as well, 41 mm starlight with dark cherry braided solo loop. I love it, except that the band is a tad tight. I hope it will stretch a little bit although I’ve read that the 2021 version of the braided loops may not stretch as much as the previous generation…
The starlight is such a beautiful colour, I keep staring at it 🙂🙃

On my wishlist so far is a product red braided solo loop and maybe a starlight solo loop. I would also really like a sport loop and am keeping my eyes open for second hand ones but am having trouble imagining which colour sport loop would look good with the starlight watch… any ideas?

The tan/pink pomelo is a perfect match imo, and the color that will easy to be find cheap if you have access to a robust resale market. Honestly all the seasonal sport loops since they went multi-color don‘t go for a lot. Feels like they don’t become must-have anymore.

Sea Salt, Sunshine, Camel also in the same vein. And the old Pink Sand you can probably find cheap too.
