I went to 2 Apple stores today with a friend to pick up an iPad Pro (and a Best Buy). Wow, are they amazing pieces of gear!
One Apple store let us in, while the other would not...but you can order and Uber Eats can deliver within 2 hrs. But you can't pickup in person if you're already there. Very confusing 🙂
I've been wanting to try on the new Braided loops in person with the 45mm. I have a Size 8 from last year with the 44mm which still fits well on my 45mm. Guy at the store had me try a Size 7, and it felt good. Size 8 also felt good.
Last year size 7 was too tight and size 9 was too loose. We'll see how they loosen up over time.

Looks good. How did you get gold hardware on a modern buckle? Did some come with that option?

Yup, the Aubergine came with gold hardware. I think the only ones that were gold are Aubergine and Raspberry modern buckles, not sure if any of the other leather styles ever had gold. Maybe a midnight blue also?

I think it's one of the rarer ones like Rose Red and Ultraviolet.

I think it’s the rarest non-nike sport band. I think a lot of people are sitting on U V and Lilac is from an era when they probably made less of each SKU.
And maybe it was just a blip but we had a moment when Rose Red became pretty available and cheap. My $15 Poshyoink alongside a Red1 aside…

The fact that it is barely lilac-colored doesn’t help.
I’ve said on here I don’t love it as much as everyone who clamors after it, kinda just a random one I got in-season forever ago—maybe thinking it would be purpler—but I was digging that pony today.
Kind of a winter Cloud Blue.

Took me a minute to figure out how to get that on mine; needless to say in that form it doesn’t feel very “analog.” I’ll prob stick with Bounce for bleed duty as I already have three Nike faces going.
