Starlight-upon-Starlight

(turned out to be a good call to splurge on this band at $26 before the holiday as almost all the Christmas dump listings have been for 41mm)

We have had Product Red bands in damn near every style other than the stainless bands and the Leather Loop… I used to have my fingers crossed every year for a red leather loop but it never came. We got leather product red in the classic & modern buckles…
I wonder if we will ever see it in the Leather Link. What do you think the chances are? 🤔

Do you find Starlight case is neutral enough to matches easily with other colours?

Some have suggested the gold/champagne tint makes it more difficult to match than the previous silver aluminum.
Silver Aluminum is the only case I don’t have experience with beyond a few times with a friend, but I don’t think Starlight is so different/warm that it prevents matches. I think it swings the other way, that it’s not gold enough for fans of gold alum and I’m sometimes wanting to see what a full yellow gold S7 would look like. Not that Starlight doesn’t also have moments of pink too.

I haven’t seen Midnight Aluminum in person but I think it’s more blue than Starlight is gold.

I'm a longtime owner of silver aluminum Apple Watches.... and honestly Starlight is a silver aluminum, but just better! It has this little something "extra" that gives it a special touch and look. Side-by-side, silver alum looks really bland. And boring. And Starlight just ... shines. I think it can go with everything. Starlight is the shinier, more elegant version of silver alum.

My main matching issue is with rich bands…I like a reflective steel or ceramic case or the luster of titanium (or even SGA) for your Capris and Oranges and Clovers

I think Starlight would look good with most dark colours. That said, it probably would look great with something like the leather Chalk band.

Aubergine modern buckle. When the light hits it right it has a nice deep purple tone, in other lights it’s a dark blue almost inky black. The gold hardware doesnt really stand out as much as I thought it might, I barely even notice it against the silver!
