Does the Chalk one feel different in terms of the texture of the leather to the others? I thought it did when I had it when I compared to the other ones I have (Dark Cherry and Sequoia Green) all brand new out of the box. The Chalk somehow felt "rougher".
I agree. I have Baltic, Dark Cherry, California Poppy and Chalk. Chalk just feels different from the rest.

I can feel it maybe a tiny bit, but wouldn’t have picked up on it. I imagine white would need extra dye, no?

And it is the only one from its season, though I would think general tweaks come in the fall, like the Braided Solo Loop upgrade.

Is anyone else less than impressed with the Sport Loops this season? I don't want any of them and that is a first for me. I just thank god for Clover and English Lavender. I bought them both and they are gorgeous!
To each their own I guess. I’m on the other end of the spectrum and I’m quite fond of this last fall Sport Loops. I think the half and half ones look amazing 🤩 got the tan/pink and the dark green/ cherry. Loved them both and I thought the grey and the blue/green ones look great as well

the twotone ones take away the magic of the olympic bands for me

I’d like to think it just has to do with the buckle looking weird in the larger size—it already feels kind of huge as a 41mm and I wear large only a few off the last hole—but it’s probably just the gender politics of fashion. I guess there’s also the fact that the Granada/NASA leather is seamless and pretty thin; that slightly off-kilter ratio would be intensified with the 45mm.

Apple made a prototype of the Deployant/butterfly style clasp and put in on the classic buckle leather, fwiw. I’m guessing that would have been the move for a Modern Buckle counterpart with perhaps a more masculine targeting.

I’m surprised it still sells well enough to have survived into the link era when the loop finally got killed off. I love Garnet, as well. Perhaps I can envision someone who wants some elegance to set them apart from the default sport band masses but not at the Hermes price level shopping all the options and getting MoBu as their primary, with scant use of a sport-style if they exercise.
Thanks 👍🏻
