thanks for the site, mine looks great, this is actually my 3rd unit.

I ordered 2 first one had a dent by the headphone, 2nd one had a big nick on the bottom, 3rd times the charm I guess, looks fine.

did the screen test, so far so good I could not find any dead pixels.:D

Thanks!

The screen on my new iPad is flawless. No light bleed, most certainly better blacks / depth of colour and of course it looks gorgeous :D

Oh yeah, no dead pixels either! They have nailed it with this one, very impressed considering my iPad 1&2 have both been back a few times for replacement due to screen problems.

Absolute perfection at this end. No yellow tint, light bleed, dead pixels, stuck dirt/hair or any other such nonsense. Or if there is its not noticeable under normal conditions and I'm not going looking for problems.

Ditto. No problems (I have yet to use it in a dark room to check bleed, but so far it looks like a non-issue - incredible)

everyone please do this ipad dead pixel test on your new ipad so you can be sure that you don't have any dead pixels. It's a simple test where you save full blocks of an individual color on your ipad in full screen mode. It's not an in-browser test. The sooner you do this simple test, the sooner you can exchange it within 14 days for a new one in the event you encounter any dead pixels and/or other issues.

be sure you do this test on your ipad!

click here for the complete test and instructions.

note: Make sure after downloading each of the colors to your ipad, you zoom in full screen.

post your results in this thread.

I checked my ipad on every color, and i have no dead pixels. What about you?

the sky is falling!

I think mine has light bleeding... No dead pixel.. What is that discoloration on top left? Other corners and middle of the bottom?

I had to return my iPad 2 due to 1 dead pixel last summer. Just wanted to chime in and say that nobody should feel bad about returning for a dead pixel. You are paying for a premium product, if you're not happy, back it goes. Apple will just wind up selling your device as refurbished and likely breaks even on it in the end anyways.

My iPad passes all the test!! No light bleed..blue tint color.. Amazing x100.. This is my first iPad and I must say I could not be happier. Good job apple and Samsung and ups and foxxcon employees!

Just tested my iPad 2 with these shots and it was perfect still. Looking forward to getting home to my new iPad that is waiting for me at work. Torture!

I'm finding it weird that anybody who finds dead pixels is getting downvoted. Why is that?

I also find it weird. I'm not sure why my initial post was downvoted either. Some Macrumors posters are very bipolar.
