For me, its a sad day for the iPhone when the only reason I’m tempted to switch is because of the cool charger and accessories. NOTHING about the 12 is remotely appealing to me.

How disappointing that you need to buy the Pro Max to get the best camera. I simply can't have a screen that large.
I 100% agree. Really disappointed. When the phone won't fit in my pocket I just can't see buying it, but I now do almost all my photography on my iPhone (if in Central Virginia visit In Vino Veritas wine shop for my photo show this month). Really bummed out. Will still upgrade to the Pro.

I picked up my iPhone 11 Pro and said, nope this one is just fine.

Did anyone else notice this disclaimer on the iPhone 12 pricing page? It might explain why the mini won't go on sale until November:

iPhone 12 mini has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission. iPhone 12 mini is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, until authorization is obtained.

Hope someone will explain the optical zoom on 12 Pro Max. On one slide it said 2.5x, on Apple Store says 5. The math agrees with 2.5x (65mm telephoto divided by 13mm super-wide).

Actually, at this point, it’s been a couple of month plus 7 minutes.

What’s next?

why dont you share what else they could have done to the phone? lucky you don't have to buy it lol so I'm not sure why you are sad.

No Touch ID in the power button was a missed opportunity, especially when the new iPad Air (still not accepting preorders  ) has it.

Other than that disappointment, the 12 Pro will finally allow my X a happy retirement.

12 Mini is same price as previous 11 price (but without charger or EarPods, is actually higher price)
12 is higher price than previous 11 price (and also without charger or EarPods, so even higher price)
12 Pro is lower price than previous 11 Pro price (even without charger or EarPods)
12 Pro Max is lower price than previous 11 Pro Max price (even without charger or EarPods)
2020 SE has come down in price (but without charger or EarPods, is actually similar price)
11 has come down in price. (even without charger or EarPods)
XR still for sale (not sure on price change?)
11 Pro/Max no longer for sale?

I presume they struggled to sell 11 Pro/Max models and have shifted prices accordingly.

The price of the 12 Mini is almost double the 2020 SE, and more than the gap between what was previously between the SE and the 11, so I would say the SE will continue to sell well.
