About bloody time, too!! Most of this stuff was announced in June. It is very disgraceful making the public wait so long... Especially for devices like the new Mac Pro. Just think of how much income Apple has lost by delaying the release of such a device like that. The same with OSX Mavericks and IOS 7.

Clueless. When those things were announced in June, they were announced for either fall or by the end of the year. Not a single one of those is late yet, all the ones that had announcements are shipping when Apple said they would.

The two OS updates had their first betas shipped at the time of the announcements. For those, they absolutely need a few months in beta to work the bugs out and let devs update their apps to the new OS. And the Mac Pro was announced having upcoming Xeon chips, those chips only started shipping recently.

Sounds like you only read the headlines on those announcements earlier this year and totally missed the details. Pay more attention next time.

So annoyed that new MacBook Pro is taking so long to get an update. My 2006 White MacBook is in life support and I need to pull the plug asap.

What a funy disconnect...

Annoyed that it is taking so long...Yet looking to replace a 7 year old machine.

I'm hoping for an iTunes Match song limit increase (as a post presentation bit of news.

At the current rate, I'll need it in about three years :D

Storing audiobooks would be nice as well, but I suppose they'd need contracts with completely different people than the record industry.

Historically OSX has never been this LATE before.. Last Year was in July and the following year, in July. Without Steve Jobs they are lagging behind!! The sooner Angela Ahrendts, the current CEO of Burberry starts work for Apple the BETTER. I SAY!! A lot of people were dismayed and disappointed with the WWDC this year. FACT! Take a look at the share price from May to now, ... I rest my case.

Cinema Display

Does anyone think that Apple will be updating the Cinema Display?

According to the Buyer's Guide, the current Cinema Display model is 764+ days old.

I know that the Cinema Display already has a Mini-Display/Thunderbolt port but I believe that it has USB 2 hub.

I'm pretty sure that the Mac Pro is going to be USB 3 and it would make sense that the Cinema Display would get a spec increase to a USB 3 hub.

Part of the reason why I am wondering is because I plan on purchasing a Mac Pro and two Cinema Display and am curious if I should buy the monitors now or wait and bundle them together.

What are your thoughts?

Isn't there too many products for just one launch?

To recap just how much stuff Apple covered at last year’s event:

00-10min: Updates
10-15min: iBooks 5min
15-25min: 13″ rMPB and rest of Portable lineup.
25-28min: MacMini
29-40min: iMac
41-51min: iPad
52-69min: iPadMini
69-73min: wrap-up

That’s a lot of stuff, and it was only an hour and 15 minute event. I don’t foresee an issue with announcing every thing at one event. Apple doesn’t generally launch products in November.

There is also a rumor that Apple will be unveiling a new/updated logo!

We all know the mac pro will be awesome.. and price will reflect it..

but what about the display mystery!? I hope something good comes out :(

Links to those rumors? I am too lazy nor keen giving google et al, more hits. :p

I'm expecting plenty of disappointed Apple users on these boards on issues such as price, features and availability... ;)

What am I wishing for?

How about a live stream Apple?!

It will be the same old, same'ish presentations by the usual suspects unless Jony is going to be part of singing group covering some classics from The Beatles as per my very reliable Apple mole - this event is actually a musical extravaganza hence they still have "a lot to cover". :p

They have so much that everyone is waiting for, there is a lot of expectation for this next event. Can they realistically release everything now? Seems like it would be a long, crazy event.

I think they will cover most of those

Since Apple's own words say a lot to cover, it's a strong possiblility they may cover the majority of what is in this list.

Maybe not the Apple TV or the Mini (Perhaps the Mini and/or both will get a silent update?)

I am super curious about the Mac Pro and the configurations/prices.

A6x or A7 - that's the question

So what do you think? 399 Mini and they keep the first iPad around at 329?

If they put the A7, I will replace my 3 Ipads for Ipad Mini's - that should hold me over for at least 2 generations
