Incorrect, it says "after restarting" after a reboot, this message happens if you scan incorrectly several times.

Ok you guys are actually right, I just deliberately failed touch ID a few times by using the wrong finger and the message changed from "Does not recognise your fingerprint" to "Passcode must be used to enable" after a couple of fails. Quite possible it was a genuine FaceID fail then!

I'm trying to visualize a different orientation/angle that better describes what you think it is incapable of doing WHILE at the same time being a reasonable use case. Like another poster mentioned, if you were at any further of an angle/distance then what use case would that be?

How I feel ....

I would genuinely be spending that money for an OLED panel primarily; even the improved camera functionality didnt have me overly impressed and 7+ Already takes great photos

I cant really justify that cost for a mobile display alone that will probably be panel lottery too,
