Right Facebook. Now you've finally got around to launching this. Can you go back to your main site and bring back a common sense, chronological news feed please? Thanks.

Oh, and fix the bugs in the iPhone App. Taar!

:)

Crashed with no recovery on original iPad

Update: Had updated from the older iPhone-class app. Deleted the app, re-downloaded and installed. Works now :)

Hope it works better than iPhone app. Takes forever to load images if they load at all. And it doesn't remember what notification you've already visited etc.

I deleted the app and downloaded fresh (not Update) from appstore. It works now.

Yep, delete and re-install. Probably a cache issue or something.

Looks great! Chat!

FYI, when I re-installed I didn't see it listed under iPad, only under iPhone, but it IS the combined version with the dedicated iPad UI. :)

Discovered sort of a bug already...

I was testing out chat with a friend. I messaged him and closed the app. He responded and when I came back the notification was in the menu bar as it should be. However, clicking on the message opens the "Messages" area as if it was sent like a private message. It doesn't display it in the chat area.

If you are chatting with someone and multitasking, that could be very trying...

Also, "Return" doesn't send a chat message. You have to click "Send".

It does that on FB.com now also. I believe it's if the other person is no longer online also. It's clever in the way it saves you chat messages as inbox messages too.
