i give it a week before it gets buggy again, and thats being hopeful, it took forever just to get past the loading screen on mine

Installed the update... it hard locked my iPhone and sent it into an endless reboot cycle. I'm in the process now of restoring firmware and restoring from a backup...

Not a happy camper with Facebook right now. No update is worth this mess

Interesting, it did the same thing to my phone :/ on a non-jailbroken iPhone, I got my phone restored and now the new Facebook App is stuck installing on my iPhone, I should have just stayed with what was already on there, haha.

Update 2: Some users who already had the Facebook app installed on their iPads are reporting that the app is now crashing immediately upon launch. Deleting the application from the device entirely and redownloading it appears to resolve the issue.

*Snicker* Sigh... Good ol' Facebook.


...You would have thought holding back release all this time they would have been able to work out *ALL* the bugs.

Working fine, but I hate that the send button on the chat on the right is so close to the keyboard. Have real issues getting messages to send instead of deleting the last character!

Loaded and runs fine on my iPad.

I don't care much for the Side Bar/News Feed/Chat swiping in landscape as scrolling sticks initially
if you have the Side Bar visible. You have to first touch anywhere in the News Feed THEN you can scroll the News Feed. Silly.
If you tap on Comments on a post while the Side Bar is visible the replies pop out from the right only partially so you can't read them. You then have to hit the left pointing arrow button in the top left. After you do that, you lose the replies completely and the Chat panel is back.

Did anyone actually use this before releasing it?

It could already use a .1 update, IMO.
Other than that, it's very nice...... so far.

Found a bug
My pages for example to see who liked something or attending an event the scroll function doesn't work. It doesn't work on Safari either for iPad.

It does support multiple accounts though.

The resolution of the app is weird on my iPad 2 for some reason. It's not that the screen has the wrong size, but the letters all look edgy and change shape a bit as i scroll through things. Anyone else have this?

I already found like 2 or 3 bugs within 2 minutes of use. All this wait for some crappy buggy app, but then again this is Facebook were talking about. Facebook never works right even on a computer.

FBpremium app is still the best.

Looks like RetinaPad was the evil culprit. Fixed.

They never rly worked for me. They just occasionaly popped up every once in a while. I feel like fb gets too confused when ur logged in on too many devices (ipad, iphone, mac etc) at the same time

I don't think 100m will be updating simultaneously.

Many of my friends actually have updates always pending in the App Store and just never bother to. My OCD hates seeing that badge.

This. If there's a push notification, or a badge ANYWHERE, I must see what it is!!!!!
