Whilst I'm sure many won't want it.

What's wrong with giving iPhone users "The Choice" ?

Count me in as one of those who don't want it. Facebook can keep their new advertising model off my iDevices.

I just let Apple know I did not want FBH on iOS. If you don't want it you should also let Apple know.

And if you want to use it you can go Android.

Why do you want to restrict user choice?

I'm not interested in Facebook home - but I wouldn't be so selfish to say I wouldn't want anyone else to be able to have it.

If it did come to iPhone I would guess it would be as an app.

No thank you, I'd rather go without. They can't even get the app to work for most users regarding notifications.

Rather not have it take over my phone

Honestly, I have trouble imagining who would even want this. On any platform.

Maybe the commercials are just underselling it's features but I don't get any sense of unique or innovative new tech.

I already hate looking at the facebook section in the options menu on my iPhone. Please, I can't stand anymore pointless status updates.

I really like the idea that photos of my friends will slideshow through my lock screen. I manage who shows up in my feed so it would only show interesting things that I may like.

Just make their current iOS app better. Problem solved. If someone desperately needs a customer launcher Android would love to have them. :)

This is gonna definitely happen.

Too bad Jobs isn't around to stop this.

:(

Why in the world do you think this will happen. iOS doesn't have widgets but will allow Facebook to take over lock & home screen? Yeah right.

Apple could add generic API to allow any developer to modify the lock or home screen. IOS doesn't have widgets now - but that can change.

If apple identify that Facebook Home ( or similar ) would help sell even more devices, Apple will add the API to make this happen.

I don't understand the angst towards this. It would just be an option people. No one is forcing you to do this. Lighten up

Please don't! I have tried it on my S3, and it is not the best thing.

I am speaking on my personal behalf.

When will the Facebook replacement come along so I can laugh at their demise and see Zuckerberg turn into the lame and forgotten about terd that Tom from MySpace turned into?

It's a slippery slope if this happens but hopefully Apple will stand its ground and tell facebook where to stick Facebook Home!
