Heres a cool thing i just found

North of minefield (following the power lines) you pick up weird signal, keeping going and you'll find a crashed ufo and an alien baster that does great damage but you can only use alien power cells so you only have 120 shots, i hope theres more ammo around.

somebody help me out...I'm at the museum. I already place the satellite on the washington monument but I don't want to leave the museum just yet without finding the stash and helping whoever is stuck below the museum..

Someone help me out and tell me what to do...

Game is Awesome. I play it on a pc with the xbox 360 remote. I am going to buy it for the 360. I am about 14 hours in and it is a blast. I play as a goodie goodie. All my other friends play as an evil guy.

I see, why go directly from point a to z in a menu, when you can go from point a to b to c to d to e to f to g and so on. :)

For Tomb Raider I'd like a gamepad, but for games like this, it would drive me insane. At least you can grab on to a mouse if needed, then sit back when you want to mosey around and pressing V eliminates the need for an accurate controller.

Has any one been affected by the gliches on the ps3 version yet ? or any other format? because i'm getting p***ed off with them

I have not had a single crash or glitch on the PC version.

I was playing it last night i was exploring the town opposite river city as soon as I when into the subway the floor kept turning black and sometimes the whole screen would go black when in a gun fight and the other prob I get is the game will freeze for no reason sometimes in the same place

^ Nothing like that has happened to me yet, and even though I hear a lot about the 2 second freeze / pause thing on the PS3 version, I have yet to experience that either.

I do have notifications turned off though if that helps ?

My god!!! Jack you have just scared all of us PS3 Fallout 3 users regardless of whether we have a problem or not. :)

I'm so glad I got this rear PS3 copy that actually works 99% of the time....only hiccup I ran into is the in-game message alerts.

Thank the stars:D;)

Note: Whiles at the museum I was over my weight limit so dropped my mini gun and Flamethrower in a pile and left dog meat to watch em.....I went to put the satellite on the washington monument and when I came back....BAM! they were gone and dog meat still sitting there like a jack arse:(

^ Lol....

Well I decided to do something 'precautionary' before I invest my life into this game. I've decided to swap my PS3 version for the 360 version (and then install the entire game to HDD).

Fallout 3 is the first game that I've noticed make my 60GB PS3 audibly very noisy. The fans sound flat out when playing it, and yet the 24+ other games I have make not a peep.

Mmm something is definitely array with the coding I think on this one.

So even though I'm on my way to Rivet City after the GNR quest, I'm cutting my time short and switching over.
:eek::)

UPDATE!!!

My god the reviewers were right. There is a VAST graphical difference between the PS3 and 360 versions.

The 360 looks so much better it's not funny, it's amazing what AA can do. Textures also seem much better and the framerate is definitely smoother.

I am running from the HDD and load times are also improved vastly over the PS3 version, which going on the remnants of my PS3 Game Data also uses up 4GB of space on the HDD, so it's not an unfair comparison.

Seriously I'm loving this game so much more now, and I genuinely would not have thought there would be as much discernible difference between the two, but there is.

There are also a few other differences I've found too.

OUTSIDE the Super Duper Mart on the PS3 - there was a couple of raiders fighting a eyebot thing. I replayed this a couple of times and it always happened.

However on 360 version, the raiders are being attacked by a giant radioactive Scorpion, somthing in 6 hours of playing on the PS3 I never found anywhere.

I'm sure there will be other differences to this great game (and now improved)....

I finally got my copy from Dell (PC version for only $35!) and I likey. If I think about it as being Fallout 3, I get mad because... it's not Fallout... and I wish things from Oblivion had been kept (ie. getting new skills when you get your abilities to 25,50, etc.) and where the hell are my traits?! They added SO MUCH depth to the character design! And LOCK PICKING SUCKS.

But... that aside, it's really fun. The world is a depressing hole, but whatev, the VATS system works well enough, enough that I hate it being in real time and seeing head explode ftw. I like exploring, just like in Oblivion. I just figured out how to repair stuff (finally! I was wandering around saying "how the hell do I do this?!" then a little marker came up when my weapon got low and told me how to repair). Looks f***ing ace on the PC! Runs really nicely as well.

I should have waited, $35 is a great deal. I paid $49 and I haven't had much time to play it.

This game is fully multi-core friendly. It purrs on my inexpensive quad-core. PCs are so freaking cheap now days in relation to their performance. :)

I'm started playing The Witcher Enhanced, so I put F3 on hold. It's worth checking out on PC when you finish F3, I'm really enjoying it.

The game ends once you complete the main quest line. Just a heads up.

Glad you said that...I'm side tracking the main mission and try to do at least five side missions before completing one main mission. I'm really taking my time with this game because like oblivion its just too long to rush and I really don't want to miss things.

Right now I'm going to get the "declaration of independence" and maybe help the dude trap in the museum.

oh and I must say dog meat is annoying as hell....he runs into battle that can be avoided forcing me to fight.
