I HATH BEEN SUMMONED BY THY NAME. *Puts cheese hat on MrPilot* Yes, AuroraFourfox is now horribly outdated and its continued use is a massive security flaw. It would be extremely wise to disconnected using it.

lol

I just tried AF, and it's not any better than TFF, considering it can't play youtube either, besides that it's outdated and not faster(just in my opinion).

My preference is actually Aurorafox. Better icon, made for Leopard (not Tiger, so there's no backporting to make it work on Tiger that isn't needed on Leopard), bit faster and snappier.

But of course, time has moved on and so after being three versions ahead of T4Fx when introduced it's now four versions behind.

Aurorafox also had the great benefit of it's user agent reporting as Firefox. You need a UA addon to strip "TenFourFox" out of the UA string on T4Fx.

Kaiser won't remove it for various reasons (and he's got that right), but I much prefered the UA string in Aurorafox.

I don't do much web browsing on my PPC machines, but when I do, I use TenFourFox.

Firefox 3 theme
. If it says "Not Available for Firefox X" then click on the Add to Firefox button anyway. You can force an install.

In View>Toolbars>Customize drag the search bar where you want it. To separate it from other items use spaces and dividers.
Thank you!!!
The one at the top (I chose "install anyway") said "can't install, because it is not compatible with FF24".
I scrolled down a bit and found a link to a compatible version for FF23. That works for TFF24.

Can someone play this video? http://mediathek.daserste.de/sendungen_a-z/53524_sportschau/19960506_tor-des-monats-januar-thiago

PS: now after having used TFF only the last 48 hours, I think I remember, why I did not use it more often, before.

Look at the screenshots:
the white, badly displayed everymac.com page is the TFF one.

Also: did anyone try FoxyProxy and was it of any benefit of performance?

.

Also, no matter how often I try to sort the quick searches, TFF will forget, that I want Google on top and e.g. Ebay underneath it, in the drop down list.

Also, I could add the german Wikipedia to it. (go to desired webpage, point on the search-bar drop-down menu and select "add current page to search-menu"). Now I have the engl. and ger., which is fine (I use both). But there is no way getting TFF to accept ebay.de instead of ebay.com.

Weird. EveryMac.com looks exactly the same for me in all browsers, including TFF.

That's what they answered:

http://www.everymac.com/upgrade_cards/by_processor/powerpc7400.html is displayed correctly. (HTTP)
https://www.everymac.com/upgrade_cards/by_processor/powerpc7400.html isn't. (HTTPS)

I would almost guess it's a site problem, viz. that some CSS doesn't match and is rejected for security reasons (?) by newer versions of TFF. The linked style sheet in the source goes to http…, not https. If I use the Web Inspector and change the css url it to https, the site is displayed normally.
