I ordered my imac on Feb 11. Just shipped yesterday. Should arrive by March 8th. The tracking originated in Newark California. Does that mean it was built in the USA?

I have the same thing. I ordered on Feb 10, scheduled to deliver on March 9, from Newark CA. I hope it means it was assembled in US but am skeptical. 9to5 mac has a piece on made in US Macs that basically says they are coming from Fremont CA. That is only a few miles from Newark, but still, not the same.

Out of curiosity, what is Apple doing with all of the Macs people have returned for light bleed, image retention, etc? Would they definitely go through refurbished store? The refurbished inventory doesn't seem to indicate that.

Ordered Feb 14. Still says 22 Mar - 8 Apr. Norway.

Seems like Apple don't give priority to customers outside the US.

Yes, it's a little depressing (especially since our prices are so much higher, too).... :(

iMac Shipping Times Fall Again, Now At Just 24 Hours

Why are the BTO iMacs still in such short supply? If there is a warehouse of standard configuration iMacs, ready to ship in 24 hours, why didn't they use the increase in production to fill outstanding orders first?

Yeah, I thought the same thing. It's not like there are hundreds of possible configurations that people would never possibly buy.

Just had my delivery dates shortened by 2 weeks......... Yippee!!!!!!

Instead of 3rd - 12th April it now states from 20th March - 3rd April......!!!!!! Superb!!

Apparently they wanted to 1) fill up enough stocks to show the "shipped within 24 hours" and 2) get enough to Apple Premium Resellers and outlets so that they don't keep complaining.

Australian order

same as mine! yay!

That's a ditto for me.

Ordered from the Australian Apple store on 23 February. Delivery date has moved forward by just under two weeks.

Less time to buy some of my 'stuff' to go with my first-ever iMac... but what a delightful problem to have.

Mine has just changed to preparing to ship. Any idea how long it stays in this phase?
Mine went to preparing for shipment on March 3. Currently showing expected delivery on March 9. So maybe about a week or possibly slightly less for US based (I am on east coast)

I placed my order Feb 15th for

• 3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
• 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X4GB
• 1TB
• NVIDIAGeFrc GTX 680MX 2G GDDR5
• APPLE MAGIC MOUSE

My credit card had an authorization pending on March 1st and know that has disappeared. I am not sure why the charge would be pending then disappear????Confused about that but the Status remains at PROCESSING.

I ordered my BTO i7,680MX,1TB FD on February 9th for delivery to the UK and I'm still at "Processing Items". Hoping there's some movement soon, especially with the reduced delivery times stated on the website.
