Delivers Mar. 13-20

Hmm, thats odd. I have the identical configuration in an order placed on February 28th. Today I checked order status and it says delivered by March 18 - 21.

My February 4th order is now preparing for dispatch!! :D

Anyone in the UK know how long theirs took from this stage?

I didn't even get chance to see this. Mine went from processing to preparing for dispatch to shipped in around 3.5 hours. It then took 4 days for it to arrive :D

Hope mines just as quick, was that UPS?

Glad to see you are enjoying yours, can't wait now! :)

Just clicked "Place Order." 27" i7 3.4Ghz / 8GB / 1TB fusion / 680MX. Delivery date is March 25 - April 2. I don't care -- I still have a 700Mhz iMac G4 running Tiger. My patience is an example for everyone.

Particularly amusing was that the delivery date changed from "March 18-26" to "March 25-April 2" in the time it took to type in my credit card/shipping info.

Card was charged yesterday, status is now "preparing for shipment." Delivery date now March 20-25.

I thought once it changed to "preparing for shipment" it would be sent out within a couple days. Was that wrong?

Mine also changed to that today, I have a ETA of between 12-20th I believe. I guess it will change once dispatched?

I ordered the 27" 3.4Ghz i7 with the bumped GPU on the 24th Feb and found the expected delivery window shifted a wee bit earlier this week, from 4-6 weeks to 2-4, now apparently arriving some time between 21st March and 4th April. The pending transaction on my card disappeared a couple of days ago but it's still on processing items.

I'd been managing not to check the status every five minutes but after the delivery estimate moved it's been hard not to check every five minutes!

Shipping date for my Mac just changed today:

"Processing Items Available to ship: 7- 10 business days
Delivers: Mar 21 - Mar 26 by Standard Shipping"
Oh yeaaah! Switched to "Preparing for Shipment" this morning!
* Wiping off a solitary drop of impatient sweat from forehead * :D

I had to cancel my original February order, and then re-ordered again a week ago on a 3Tb Fusion, but I had a nagging feeling I should have went all SSD, so third time lucky for me !

Ordered Applecare from an ebay seller with 100% feedback, next on my list will be the LaCie SSD 1 Tb Little Big Disk for backup.

And mine just arrived today !!

Don't think I'll set it up till the weekend though, as we have painters in !

what country are you in?

SHIPPED!! That only took a few hours. Nice that they're getting caught up.

My 27" i7, 3 TB fusion, 680 mx, 8gb ram just went to preparing for shipment in the last hour :D. Just a week more and I should have it hopefully.

So excited! The wait seems to have taken forever. Ordered on Feb 16.

I don't understand how people with the same config as mine and ordered later than me are getting them before me.

What country is it getting shipped to? I doubt people who are receiving it before you are from the same country. Maybe not many people order from your country (relatively speaking) so Apple want to wait to fill your country's quota before committing the necessary resources to get your product shipped

That's a ditto for me.

Ordered from the Australian Apple store on 23 February. Delivery date has moved forward by just under two weeks.

Less time to buy some of my 'stuff' to go with my first-ever iMac... but what a delightful problem to have.

I am excited to report that my order is also 'preparing for shipment'. I was ready to get an iMac in 2011 (switching from an awful HP), but held off until the Australian tax law changed in Jul 2012. Then in July 2012 I decided to wait for the new model (but made the switch from wintel to start using a rMBP). Come the end of the year, my business hit a rocky patch and so I had to save until near the end of February. It's been a looooong wait, so I am VERY excited by the prospect of seeing my 27"inch iMac soon. :D

I'm getting a bit annoyed with this now, as most of you are. I ordered on Feb 18 (almost 3 weeks ago) and my estimated date is currently March 25 - April 8. That's still 3 weeks away at best. I just configured the same iMac on the Apple Store (Germany) and it said it would be sent in 1-2 weeks. It seems like previous orders aren't necessarily getting pushed forwards now they're catching up with stock.

Yeah, last time I checked (last night), mine hadn't changed either. Have you tried calling them? Maybe it's worth a try....
