You two should really get a room. The sexual tension in here is incredible.

no one here cares about what you think.....
thats a fact of life.
Ask yourself how often you blow $30. Then tell me you wasted your money. I can tell you $30 for an OS feels like nothing.

Are you upset because you just found out you were Canadian, or is it something else?
anybody can contribute to the site with their money, whether they actually contribute anything to the discussions is another story![]()

what does that have to do with anything....
anyone can pretend to be smart too.....good job!
What's up with your constant use of ellipsis? I mean literally every post of yours has at least one and to add insult to injury you seem to use a random number of periods instead of the correct three.
Funny for someone who implies that others are stupid.
At this point an OS is just for running your apps and to increase productivity, it's not just for flash and fluff.
I doubt that people bought it for faster boot time alone, but it's probably something they expected to come with the package. De-bloating and optimization is something that's in the air right now... Microsoft sliced a few gigs with Win7 and cut the boot time down to 40-50% of what it was in Vista. Apple shaved 7 GB off SL compared to Leopard and cut the installation time down... that French guy at the keynote bragged about a long list of things that were supposedly faster in SL. I dunno, it almost follows logically that it should also boot faster.i find it hilarious that people bought it for boot time. if you want better boot time, buy a ssd. if you want an even more polished osx, buy snow leopard.
We got new Apple Stickers!
Right, but they said from day one that SL is not about new features, it's about stability, speed, optimization, going full 64-bit etc. They've been stressing this from day one, what, a year ago. The fact that people still install it and go "OMG! It's almost totally like before!" puzzles me somewhat, how can anyone miss that info? Is the name not enough of a clue that this isn't an entirely new cat?I think what my only real problem with this so far is that it seems to be a very large patch.....since when do we pay for patches?? Think of it as Leopard Service Pack 1. That's my only real complaint.
On one hand I did pay the extra $30 for it and that's fine, Apple has always gotten paid and I think it comes with the territory....you are paying for premium software service and they SEEM to respond to bug fairly quickly.
On the other hand you ARE paying for a service pack, lol, re-written code notwithstanding. I'm torn, as usual with this company it seems, to love and hate it.....and yet still am willing to pay it.
I install it and wow, it is the same thing with no real noticeable (except in my head) difference. I want to think it's snappier and I hope I'm not making that part up in my head but I did notice that my power monitor in the top of my toolbar doesn't correct, lol. Was stuck on 99% and then 96%...hmm..
