Easy choice for me. I don’t want Germany to have more World Cup wins than Italy.I honestly can't decide who to be with in this game, I like both teams!!!

Can’t wait to see the last round in that group.Very intense game 1 : 1 !
You can never write off the Germans. Can’t wait to see the last round in that group.
Most die hard fans would disagree with your point of view. VAR has become a very important part of the game, an offside is an offside. Even the picture you posted clearly shows he was offside. Perhaps the most memorable cheating event that occurred before VAR was introduced was Maradona in the Argentina vs England game when he scored a goal with his hand. That would clearly have been disallowed with VAR. Maradona off course called it "The hand of god"I hate seeing well executed goals get wiped-out by minute VAR offside calls, especially when the referee and the assistant had clear views and didn't whistle, or flag the play.
Rüdiger's header today (at 1:45 in these highlights) is a good example.
Spain vs. Germany Highlights | 2022 FIFA World Cup | FOX Sports
Spain and Germany faced off in the highly-anticipated matchup in the group stage. Germany appeared to score its first goal by Antonio Rudeiger, but it was ruled a no-goal due to an offside call. The teams would remain scoreless at the half. Spain had enough of the stalemate and score the first...www.foxsports.com

That said, I have to admit that the technology behind the "Al Rihla" ball with a sensor in its center and the real time player tracking being done at the matches is pretty impressive.

Don't worry. That won't go anywhere.I don't follow the incredible ins and outs of world cup soccer but I do watch it, and my kids enjoy watching it. Without getting into the PRSI of the Brouhaha regarding Iran vs US. are there rules, regarding a nations flag being altered or not properly being displayed? Iran is trying to get the US ousted from the WC because they allege the US violated the FiFA charter.
I don't expect the US to win, or go to the next level, but rather my question is rather, does Iran have a point in complaining about this?Don't worry. That won't go anywhere.
They certainly have the right to complain, but I doubt that it will result in anything other than FIFA cracking down more on political messaging by soccer associations in future editions. Personally I found it a very stupid action by the US Soccer Federation, not because I agree or disagree with either part, but because targeted “attacks” like that can escalate tension and translate into violence towards fans.I don't expect the US to win, or go to the next level, but rather my question is rather, does Iran have a point in complaining about this?

That was what I was talking about. I would really be surprised if Iran got anything out of this protest.I don't expect the US to win, or go to the next level, but rather my question is rather, does Iran have a point in complaining about this?
I wasn't sure what you meant. I do think it was childish, and stupid for them to do that btwThat was what I was talking about
Yep yep!Cameroon v Serbia was extraordinary.
Sorry, English isn't my main language.I wasn't sure what you meant. I do think it was childish, and stupid for them to do that btw
Nope got the game on my iPhone here at work (shh!) and yes they are. Hopf Swiss! Is anyone noticing the Swiss are playing a lot stronger than the Brazilians? or it's just me? 🤨
I am telling your boss!!!Nope got the game on my iPhone here at work (shh!) and yes they are. Hopf Swiss!
Switzerland is today what I would call a mid tier Euro team which means that even without some of the flair of the top teams they are very disciplined, organized and tactically adept. Is anyone noticing the Swiss are playing a lot stronger than the Brazilians? or it's just me? 🤨
The South Korea v Ghana match was also excellent. What a turnaround from the Koreans team! impressive goals!
