There's going to be more exchanges than people thinkYou weren't the first. And won't be the last. Especially when 6 buyers go yo an Apple store and put theirs next to the big one. A lot more exchanges in the horizon.

I have to assume you're a child since you convinced yourself to get something you don't want just so you could get it sooner. Be real, if you could any model, in any color, in any storage capacity shipped to your door on the 19th you'd get the 6+.
I just made the switch. I went back and forth all day yesterday but decided to go with the 6.
My wait time was 4-6 weeks for the plus and i just thought it was way too big.
Anyone else make this switch like I did ?
I think you made the right choice. The iPhone's claim to fame when it came out was that it enabled people to carry the internet in their pocket. The 6 Plus takes away this fundamental ability - not something that OIS and a few landscape apps could fix. Not to mention that having apps designed for a 4" screen scaled up to fit a 5.5" screen is a bit ridiculous. I predict a lot of disappointed people a few weeks after launch day, when the newness wears off and the frustration sets in.
Mmm, it's not that much bigger.....View attachment 491317
...maybe its just the design geek in me, but that'd still drive me nuts to know my screen was *never* showing 1:1 pixels to what was designed...
I'm the other way. I have a 6 on order for the 29th and a plus for Oct 10. Still can't decide. How did you decide?
The only people complaining about the Plus size are the people buying the 6 so stop complaining about something you won't own. It's only the minority that complain and make noise. Sure there will be more happier people than those who are not, always the same.
....and vice versa.
Now iPhone 6 users are a minority? The things kids say on this forum.
Which is a good thing because we'll be able to use our iPhone 6 one-handed and not have to make any lifestyle changes in terms of handling it.
6 minus? Really?
The iPhone 6 guys don't need any more reasons to regret their purchase. Calling it 6 minus is just wrong.
does it not bug anyone that the 6 plus never runs at its native screen resolution? everywhere i've read suggests it renders 1242 x 2208 and then down samples to 1080p.
i guess the argument is that its high enough res that you wouldn't notice the softening. i've got one of the retina macbook pros, and true enough, the scaled modes don't look bad or anything. maybe its just the design geek in me, but that'd still drive me nuts to know my screen was *never* showing 1:1 pixels to what was designed. which is to say nothing of whether there is a performance hit as well.
You're just mad because you know I'm right.
I didn't know this until you've said it, but from what I've read the 6 Plus screen is noticeably sharper and move vivid, so I don't think it is going to be an issue.
