They are calling it iPad Pro 2 Pro. The extra Pro at the end makes it $200 costlier.Nothing new to see here.

I don't see it as a joke, but rather as yet another sign of how MacRumors has taken on a very passive-aggressive tone towards it's subject of Apple products and services. With the main site adopting this tone, it's no surprise that the forums have descended into a hate filled cesspool.Nice one in the title: "iPad Pro 2 Surface"![]()
Agreed. It's just the nmormal upgrade cycle shifting to the new ARM package and upgrading the display to the TrueTone 9,7". I guess the yields or the iPads sold also justify the upgrade.Nothing new to see here.

Should have bought a Mac Pro ..... They never get outdatedUgh, I just bought my 12.90" IPP a couple months ago. My device is already outdated.![]()

Except there is no 16GB 12.9" iPad Pro. Currently the smallest capacity is 32GB and I don't see them offering a 16GB instead. Likely just a prototype/test unit.It is not 12GB it is 16....all the 16GB devices say 12GB.
Well, we will likely be seeing a 12mp camera (with camera bump?), true tone display, A10X processor, Hey Siri, in the very least. Not sure what other features they can introduce to justify an upgrade. I doubt we will be seeing a ram increase anytime soon.
Any thoughts?
You may not be far off the mark.A whole new line of bands....I mean keyboard ....coloured pencils ....
Will be a busy fall! I like it.![]()
If I would test a prototype to see how well it works, I certainly would not build one with 16GB storage...Except there is no 16GB 12.9" iPad Pro. Currently the smallest capacity is 32GB and I don't see them offering a 16GB instead. Likely just a prototype/test unit.
