Well then maybe the product shouldn't exist.Components are not small enough for Face ID
This is stupid. Since the iPhold is so short, they should relocate the power button back to the top, where it was until the 5S/SE, and place the volume buttons on the side where they make more sense. The volume buttons will be located on the top edge of the device […] The Touch ID power button [continues] to be located on the right edge of the device
The outer screen has less space beneath it than the (left side of the) inner screen. So maybe I missed it, but the inner display camera is under the screen but the outer display is a hole punch?
Why not make them both under displays? (Wonder if its cost, if it is, why make one over the other?)
The outer screen will be wider than the Pro Max, but shorter than the mini, so it’s a bit difficult to compare.I’m so used to a Pro Max screen that the smaller outer screen of current foldables feels too confining.
Sounds made up.Just another article about someone who claims to know "something".
My sister's husband's cousin has a friend who's dating a girl with a cat, who's vet said they know things about stuff.
But it’s not the same side open or closed. The left side when closed becomes the right side when open.Apple will want the buttons to stay on the same side of the phone regardless of whether the phone is open or closed. Thus everything must be on the right side.
Probably in between. Close to the Pro would be my guess. Will it weigh more than the 17 Pro/Pro Max?
"early" back to a form factor they had since the original iPhone (2007). Dunno what you're talking about mate. All of this new tech (including the iPhone Air) just proves Apple was TOO EARLY with the iPhone mini.
Exactly. Plus skill level. I would bet my life savings I could take a better photo with an iPhone Air than most can take with their Pro. The Pro is like the F-150 of smart phones. The vast majority don't know/don't use what it's capable of. But it's the best seller that everyone seems to have. It's kind of laughable. It's not about the number of cameras. It's the quality of photos the lenses take.
I have seen this type of comment many times. When closed, it's a phone. Use it like a phone. There is no need or reason to open it to take a call, send an email or text, or to do anything that you can do with a phone. You open it when you want a larger screen for viewing websites, photos, videos, etc. When closed it's just like any other phone.Interesting if they actually manage to achieve a durable scratch resistant 'crease-free' display. I'm skeptical.
I personally don't like folding screens anyway. To me a phone is for accessing quick information in a compact discrete form factor. Having to unfold the damn thing every time you use it is just adding an annoying extra step. I don't like wallet cases for the same reason. I don't want my phone to be a mini tablet, even if it can fold up and fit in my pocket.
To be honest we are all stuck to our phones too much as it is. If Apple really cared about the world in the way they pretend to, they would invent 'methaphone' to treat the addiction and bring socialising back into fashion.
Isn’t that the whole point of the outer screen??Interesting if they actually manage to achieve a durable scratch resistant 'crease-free' display. I'm skeptical.

That's the easiest for me to compromise on. Much harder will be the camera, if it loses the Optical Zoom.No Face ID, no sale!
