Currently syncing 62 gigs of music (128k option) and 16 gigs of photos. Got about 20 gigs to play with. Haven't had a chance to play with it much as I don't want to mess with it while it's syncing, but it's FAST. Need to do the 9.0.1 update when it finishes syncing.

She's a beauty. Feels sooo much better in the hand though it's the same design. Prolly the added weight.

Still waiting on my wife's phone to arrive via FedEX...

the finger print reader is just faster than before, its not sensitive, its just fast. You might need to assign a security finger for unlocking and another for hitting the button when the screen is off
Exactly my thoughts. Or use your finger tip, with more nail than not?

nothing scientific. imo that is the most important. dont care if benchmark scores are lower but if it feels right then that is most important. thnx for sharing

sounds like u started new. maybe people who restored are still feeling the phone indexing everything. it takes a day or two sometimes
Great point.

I previously had a 6+, and now have 6S+

Lastly, 3D Touch seems like it has excellent potential, but just from a couple of hours of using it, I wish I could customise which options it displays, for example with the music app, being able to have my last playlist as an option, instead of Beats1. On a side note, I find 3D Touch whilst swiping a weird action to master. It doesn't feel fluid or intuitive. But it's early days.
.
Oh my, could you imagine how great it would/could be if you could customize the shortcuts?!

Unless I'm mistaken, I swear I read on a number of reviews that the regulatory details had been removed from the back of the 6S? If that's the case, how come my 6S has them on still...

Unless I'm imagining things...

Only in certain countries. Unfortunately the UK still require them on the back.

iPhone 6S Plus, is amazingly fast and fluid. No lag, no tab reloads. The restore process was the fastest one by far, over any other year. Yes, expecting every year to be faster than last, but this was different. The 3D Touch is amazing. I love not having to open every single email, and seeing the importance of it. Some email titles are false emergencies. I got mine at 9:08 this morning, and was literally done pairing my watch and set up in under the hour, while doing all of my updates for work, as well. 6SPlus Device is noticeably solid, over the 6Plus. Which feels really good, takes me back when I held the 4S for the 1st time. Overall, this iPhone is a beast at everything it does. I ran through most of my projects today, that I do on my phone in considerably less time. Who couldn't have more of that? In a sense, I'm glad the Plus version has the specs and power it needs to be that much better. Don't get me wrong, the regular 6 plus is nice and all, but this model definitely deserves the extra HP, to make the experience so much better. Really happy to have this S version.

Just press the home button with a non Touch ID finger or a different part of a Touch ID finger (say a joint of a bent finger) and you can still unlock it normally while it's on your desk. :)

Just use your TouchID finger, but swipe a bit as you press. Works great.

I have been using a 6 for the last 3 months since selling my Nexus 6 just to get back to iOS.

I got the space gray 64gb6S+

Wow did I miss having a bigger screen!! This screen is absolutely beautiful and thats coming from a quad hd screen from the Nexus 6 even though it was a cooler color temperature this screen is much better. I usually go full brightness on my bigger phones and this is where this screen shines if you will.

I actually am enjoying the added heft of the 6s+ as I had the 6+ back in the day. It feels more manageable caseless and also the new aluminum has a better grip even if only slightly. Maybe its in my head but it doesn't feel like its wrapped in butter.

I am so very tempted to go caseless and screen protectorless as this combo is what apple wanted us to experience. That curved glass and swiping from the outside and 3d touch multitouch is so effortless. It feels so thin and good in the hand I hate to put a case on it but I will think about it.

Super speed on the device, love the haptic vibration feel as it reminds me of my AW which I love. No refreshes as the RAM addition is very evident.

I can't help but think this is what the 6+ was to be but the S line perfected it. I am not going to crown it after 5 hours but this has the possibility to be one of the best iPhones ever IMO.

Only regret? Possibly not getting gold or silver as the white phones look much better this year to my eyes and have less fingerprints and love the touch ID detail with the color gold.

Other than that, super satisfied.

I would say this is good enough a reason for you to get the Plus version already. The video OIS in the Plus version is very noticeable compared to the software stabilization found on the 6s. Unless you don't foresee yourself videoing tricks that is..

The iPhone 6s by itself isn't that much more one hand friendly in my opinion. I find myself using both hands a lot more and the awkwardness of trying to use "Reachability" to reach the top at times makes me just wanna use both hands for the 6s.

The Plus flared better in the newly released drop test but I'd definitely recommend you to get something to armor it up while skating.

I saw that drop test video but I don't know, every drop is different. My 6 held up great in just a leather apple case, and I did end up getting the 6s this morning. I showed up at like 0745 and there was only 3 people there.

nah, I got it else where right after pre-ordering the phone :D a good deal to me since it comes with front and back protector to hold off before I get my glass protector

just wanna add that the case does seem to affect reception though D:

I had to return my hybrid aluminum or whatever it was because it dropped me 2 bars when i was in my basement and that were crucial two bars to getting any phone calls at all down there.
