Several posters in our forums have highlighted the high-quality "Retina HD" displays on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, but have observed that apps yet to be optimized for the larger displays appear "quite blurry" or "'big' and disgusting" due to scaling issues.

In other news, the sky is blue. If you thought the graphics were magically going to scale up and be crystal clear you don't deserve to own any technology.

So, in hind sight, would you have preferred the larger screen-4.7 or 5.5 or a much more powerful CPU and GPU with the 4" screen?

Really?

Loud vibration? It's either too quiet or too loud. You're not gonna hear it go off when its in your pocket.

To be fair, I haven't heard it on the 6 Plus, on the 6 it's fine.
My 6 Plus is a jackhammer...I aint gonna lie. Lol. It's not that big of deal for me.

I don't see people complaining.

Android spec land is to the left.

that's a bit presumptuous. i totally understand why apple hasn't upped megapixels (or the lacks of bumps in other areas), but i go through enough refreshes on web pages or with some content on my phone and ipad, i don't think asking for more ram is totally irrational. i know apple's philosophies about 'marriage of software and hardware' but it's getting to a certain point, ya know? unless, iOS8 and i6 or i6+ has solved this issue? i'm still on 5S but it does the same for me on iOS8. refresh refresh refresh.

A lot of people don't realize that there is also a lot of customization that can go into the vibration. You can use presets or even design your own vibration sequence and assign different sequence patterns to different callers (by using different ringtones for those callers and assigning the particular vibration sequence to the ringtone first) allowing you to know who is calling simply by the effective "morse code" in your pocket.

It's not a sticker. We got a bunch of iPhone 6 cases printed based on the rumored specs a few months ago.

We do have some stickers around. Maybe we'll figure out an easy way to get them to people. The case giveaway was a big of a chore packing up and shipping individual cases.

Cafepress. Solved. :)

That photo with the gold iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 really demonstrates how little of a difference in thinness the 6 actually is compared to the 5(S) body. The slide Apple showed in the unveiling made it look significantly thinner but that was mostly an optical illusion with the way the lighting was hitting the curved edge of the 6 as oppose to the straight edge of the 5(S).

Here's hoping when it comes time for the iPhone 6S, Apple will make a 4.0 inch screen phone option.. I'm not a fan of bigger screens on the iPhone at all. I have an iPad for when I need that.

6 here. Glad I went with 4.7". Seems like the perfect size for me.

I figured apps would look fuzzy, but its definitely more noticeable than I anticipated. Hope they start updating soon!

What would be the benefit of a 4 inch iPhone 6 over a 5 or 5s ?

Hope many people get your point. Apple is now creating the need for spec bump but making a killing without actually doing it. You will find 100% faster phone in just one year from now with same structure, another 80-100 million to sell! Great business model with voluntary help from buyers!

Article absolutely not sponsored by Verizon

It certainly wasn't sponsored by AT&T, if it was there would be no phone in that picture and the author would have an ETA of mid to end October.

weren't the "professional reviewers" raving about how good non optimized apps looked and that nothing needs to be done from the developer side, it just works. Shows once again how fake these reviewers are.

I haven't heard anything reported about what those ugly lines on the back are.

This may be a wonderful phone, but in the "looks" department, it definitely didn't receive as much of Jony's attention as the iPhone 5.
