I just got my iphone 6 delivered about 30 mins ago. I haven't been able to restore from my iCloud backup... just getting an error message that it could not contact the server. I'm sure Apple servers are getting hammered with activations today.
I'm with you. iPhone 6, with more storage.
\I'll be interested to see what I think
Really?
Loud vibration? It's either too quiet or too loud. You're not gonna hear it go off when its in your pocket.
To be fair, I haven't heard it on the 6 Plus, on the 6 it's fine.

I always leave my phone on vibrate and my 5S was decently loud, definitely not as loud as my 4 was, but damn this actually makes me happy that is really loud and strong too...i can finally be able to hear it all the time
the vibration noise is a moot point since most people have their iPhones wrapped in some sort of case. unless you just use a rubber bumper, i doubt you'll notice the vibration noise any more than your current iPhone
Whenever Apple changes something about iOS or the hardware that alters apps' looks or sets non updated apps apart from developers' apps who are still very actively working on them there's one benefit:
You see who's really serious about their apps all the time, after all that time you have them already.
The apps that are updated most quickly are often of higher support quality.
For example: When we went from 3.5" to 4.0" I could quickly see which apps I might want to replace with alternatives.

First of all, this is my first time commenting on here.
Second of all, I woke up at 7 and headed to the verizon store and there were only 30 people in line. Almost everybody was waiting in line at the apple store downstairs in the mall. I managed to get the $200 for my iPhone 4S and used that to get a iPhone 6 64gb![]()

While the official reviews of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were published several days ago, with the devices now making their way into customers' hands we are starting to see broader first impressions of the larger iPhones.
Several posters in our forums have highlighted the high-quality "Retina HD" displays on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, but have observed that apps yet to be optimized for the larger displays appear "quite blurry" or "'big' and disgusting" due to scaling issues.
Another aspect being noticed by users is the much louder vibration on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, something highlighted by John Gruber in his review earlier this week.Customers are also generally praising the overall look of the new iPhones, calling them "sleek and beautifully made" and "glorious". Those opting for the gold model may notice that it is "a bit more yellow golden" than the gold iPhone 5s.
As for size, some customers have been concerned about placing orders for the iPhone 6 Plus without having a good idea of just how big the device really is. Reactions now that users are getting their hands on them seem to be mixed, with some saying they "love every inch" of the 5.5-inch display while others have found it too big for their tastes. Some in-store customers were able to compare the two sizes before purchasing, helping make the decision easier.
For ongoing coverage of photos and first impressions, readers are welcome to follow our consolidated thread stickied in our iPhone forum.

I woke up at 6. Went to Miami ATT store. Only 30 people there and after 2 hours of wait, they announced that there were no 6 plus at all. NOT EVEN ONE!![]()
I am glad for Apple and for us that reactions are so mixed for the 5.5 inch phone vs 4.7 inch. This is a good thing. It just means that it comes down to personal preference, and neither one is "unusable". They both belong and are good for the lineup.
It would have been nice if they sent their stores a few phones each as display models to test out the different sizes a week before launch. Lots of foot traffic for the stores.
I went with the 4.7, but in fear of 5.5 being too big. Though I am not opposed to 5.5 as my next phone. I won't know if I made the right decision til this afternoon.
